Yes there is a good chance that you will get a seat in iiit and nits. Congratulations for you got such a good rank and rest just apply for the special round and definitely you will get seat in iiits and nits for sure as many of the candidates shall be there who shall be going for iits and thus due to your category quota too you can get better chances
Hello Prashanti,
IIIT Lucknow is still in the making where is IIIT Gwalior is a well established institute. In case of placements IIIT LUCKNOW placements are better than in IIIT Gwalior if you are willing to do a little hardwork. In IIIT Lucknow avg. package is 11.5lpa and Highest package is about 27lpa which is better than in some well established NIT’s and IIIT’s , while the avg package of IIIT gwalior is 6lpa.Hence in my opinion you should go for IIITM Gwalior.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
IIIT Lucknow though living under the hood of IIIT Allahabad, is running independently from the last 2 years and is technically separated from IIIT Allahabad as we have different classes and faculty, we have our own different placement cell ( which means our placements happen differently from IIIT Allahabad ) which in no way has hindered the package figures. Keeping in mind that the first batch passed out in 2k19, the highest C.T.C being 28 Lakhs which am pretty sure surpasses other newly established IIITs !
With this rank it will be very diffcult for you to get admission in any of the NITs or IIITs and even in the newer ones you will not be able to get any of the good branches. Although you can try for admission in GFTIs as there you might have a better chance of getting a good branch. You can use the careers 360 college predictor to know about further details

Hello aspirant,
It's very difficult for you to get a seat in any of the nit/iiit/gfti, because your rank is too low to fetch you any seat, but still for the special round you can try for some north eastern nits like nit arunachal Pradesh, nit tripura, nit Sikkim, nit meghalaya, nit manipur or nit Srinagar as their general cutoffs are low.
Or you can take a drop and prepare again for jee.
Hope it helps.
Hi Prashanthi,
I understand that you are interested in admission in one of the undergraduate engineering degree courses that are offered in IIIT Lucknow and so now to answer your question yes, the new batch of students that is the session beginning from 2019-2020 will have their classes conducted at IIIT Lucknow for CS and IT students.
BEST WISHES!
Hello student,
Congratulations!! You have secured a very good rank. But you have very slim chances of getting into IIT's or NIT'S. Whereas you can try for IIIT's, GFTIS and some NIT's as well. You can also look into some private universities which are equally good like the lovely professional university, Nirma University, etc. They provide you with good placements, infrastructure and Academics as well.
I hope this helps you.. All the Best.
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
