Hey Khalandar,

It totally depends on your category,if you are of general category then your chances are poor but you can try. Then,again if you are of other categories then you stand a chance to get into the newer IIIT's and also NIT's if you may. Hope for the best.

Its hard to say take part in counciling you can get. But chances are very low.

My JEE mains rank is 4443 in st category.can I got seat in any IIIT??

The rank doesnot depend only on what you score in jee paper 2. But also on your board percentage.

One student scored 240/390 in paper 2 but alas his board percentage was 80. He landed up with a rank of 5500.

I got 55 marks in JEE MAIN 2018 and didn't qualified JEE ADVANCED. Can I get seat in NIT or IIIT in SC Category?

Respected Sir,
You can Get NIT or IIIT through your mains marks. I would suggest you to compare your ranks with the last year cut off to get a better idea about your situation right now.

Nit ya gift, iiit me admission ke liye jee main clear karna must hai ya jee advanced mere jee main rank hai 21845 SC rank mar

For admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, candidates require JEE main ranks and Not JEE advanced.

Minimum 75% aggregate marks in class12th across general category is required aswell for eligibility.

GoingBy your ranks chances for GFTIs and NITs are low.

You can get Assam University which has been good GFTI.

Hey dear as per last year trends and cut offs you’re eligible to get GFTIs definitely I’m skeptical about iits since they focus more on all India rank under 30k so GFTI are good chances for you definitely

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good. There is are many natural nd artificial artifacts present inside the campus. The buildings are very much well maintained and the grounds are also very well maintained.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
