Hey there!
BIT Mesra is better in terms of infrastructure, facilities, faculty and placements, when compared to IIIT Lucknow. BIT Mesra is older as well whilst IIIT Lucknow is newer. For more information regarding the two colleges, you are advised to visit the following links:

Hope this helps. All the best!
Between jamia and usict , both are equally good. Jamia has better reputation nationally .
For CSE /it/ECE usict maybe better but for core branches jamia is better because of experienced faculty.
New iiits are improving vastly , so they might become much better by the time you pass out . So you can opt for them too.
In CSE average package in jamia is around 3-4 lakhs whereas in iiit Bhubaneswar and others it's quite high. Also you will get tag of a iiitian
Otherwise both are equally good .
Hello aspirant,
Congratulations for the results and hope you are doing well. NIT's and IITs are the second topmost technical government colleges in India and every student wants to get into this institution but due to the very tough competition only few could go there and also due to the limited number of seats. Admission also depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch selection, number of seats, number of students applied, difficulty level of examination, etc. With your obc rank under girls quota there is some chances of getting admission in any lower NIT or IIIT as otherwise the chance are very less as the competition is very tough and cutoff ranks are very high so you can only get admission if we apply the obc quota, girls quota and home state quota for your admission otherwise it is difficult for you to get into NIT's or IIITs .
Hope this helps.
If any queries feel free to ask.
All the best!!
Regards.
Hello,
I am sorry to inform you that with 89 percentile marks in mains your chances for securing a seat in any of the government colleges are very less. Even with the OBC category, you can most certainly forget about getting established NITs, IIITs or even GFTIs like BIT Mesra. I would still advise you to check for the newest of the IIITs which are in the northeast and don't have permanent campuses like Kottayam, Una, Nagpur, Meghalaya, Tripura, etc. You might get a seat in special rounds of CSAB in the newer IIITs if you get lucky. You also have a fair chance in some GFTIs which you might also want to look. I would also suggest you to keep looking for other private colleges or state government colleges and don't just hang all your hopes with special rounds only.
Thank You.
Hello,
I am sorry to inform you that with 91 percentile marks in mains your chances for securing a seat in any of the government colleges are very less. If you are not in any category, you can most certainly forget about getting average IIITs. I would still advise you to check for the newest of the IIITs which are in the northeast and don't have permanent campuses. You might get a seat in special rounds of CSAB in the newer IIITs if you get lucky. You also have a fair chance in some GFTIs which you might also want to look. I would also suggest you to keep looking for other private colleges or state government colleges.
Thank You.
Hello,
Your percentile is not bad, especially when considering you are also eligible for OBC category. You might get a decent branch even in Tier 2 NITs and some of the good IIITs. Dropping for another year is a very personal decision. You must know yourself if that was your best effort or not. If you feel you can better your performance of this year, then you should definitely take a drop and even try for IITs.
My verdict is if you feel you can better your performance to the level of Tier 1 NITs or IITs, then you can take a drop otherwise all the colleges including Tier 2 NITs or Even average IIITs are more or less same in terms of opportunities.
Thank You
Hello,
I am very sorry to inform you that your rank of 27k in sc is not enough to secure a seat in IIIT Kurnool. The courses in IIIT Kurnool are the very in-demand branch, according to last year cutoff trends, CSE closed before even touching 10k SC rank. Even in the special rounds, IIIT is closing way before your CRL.
I would suggest you try for other colleges and via other state-level counsellings too.

Hello dear,
According to your rank in jee mains 2019,you have very less chance to get seat in any NIT or IIIT to do Civil engineering course.Your rank should be under 30,000 to get seat in civil engineering.
With this rank in jee mains you wont get well reputed college. Here I am providing you some colleges where you can take admission(Considering your Home State as West Bengal) :
1.Netaji Subhas Engineering College,Kolkata :BioMedical Engineering
2.Narula Institute of Technology ,Kolkata :Mechanical Engineering
3.Sillicon Institute of Technology ,Bhubaneswar :ECE
4.Techno India ,Durgapur :IT
Best of luck!!
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
