Yes you can definetly get seats into nit or iiits but in nits you might get into top nits with any of core branches .
Reputed Nits that you can take admission are nit surat , nit roulkela , nit bhopal , nit nagpur , nit kurukshetra.

Hello,

This is the first time the ews category has ever been implented so no one really has a clarity about this. So I suggest you to participate in the counselling fill out your options, when the results of the first round comes out you will have a vague idea

Is it allowed to leave engineering colleges like nit and iiit if I get selected for NDA?

If you are interested in joining NDA then yes you can but then there is no reason to leave engineering before you are sure with NDA selection.Yes you can leave your college anytime but before that be sure and consult with your family then take a strong decision.

Hello sir, my JEE MAIN AIR is 76775. Can I get any NIT or IIIT with this rank? Also my EWS rank is 9445

Hello Arvind,

According to your AIR, you can expect a very few NITs but I am sorry to say but IIIT Bhubaneshwar is not possible. The cutoff for IIIT Bhubaneshwar is around 40000 max.

And since EWS is being implemented from this year itself, it is not possible to predict

Yes , you have a chance of getting NIT.
If you have qualified JEE ADVANCED then only you are capable of getting admission in IIT's
But you have a nice score in JEE Mains.you can easily get top NIT's

No there is no sports quota in any nit or iit .
Even no engineering colleges accept sports quota as sports quotas are apllicable till 12th standards .
There are only caste quota some have defence quota , migrant quota , NRI quota , single girl child

With a rank of 9635 through SC category you can get both iiit and NIT colleges. To get CSE and E&C branch and to get top NIT colleges your rank should be within 3-5k. With a rank of 9635 you can get all branches in mid to low

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good. There is are many natural nd artificial artifacts present inside the campus. The buildings are very much well maintained and the grounds are also very well maintained.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
