Hello Vakkala Akhila,IIIT jabalpur is a good and descent college but i would suggest you to fish for the NITs and other good IIITs.Since, one would always like to go for the higher end colleges,i would suggest you to look for colleges better than the one you mentioned. You can check the placement scenario of every colleges and you can compare them by the statistics of their salary trend.
Thanks for connecting.Team Careers360.
Dear Aspirant,
No. You won't be able to get admission in any NIT or IIIT with your rank. For a general candidate to get a seat in any NIT/IIIT, your rank must be under 30k. As you are falling short on that you will not be able to get into one. Moreover, your +2 marks do not matter in admissions in NITs/IIITs, only you have to score 75% or be in the top 20 percentile. After that only your rank matters.
However, if this was your first attempt, I suggest you should take a drop year and prepare again. Give JEE 2020 and try to be under rank 30k. Then you will be eligible for admission in NITs/IIITs.

Hello Dinesh
I can mention about the govt. sector Scope for ECE branch as it has so many.
Indian engineering service exam
Public sector unit(Bharat electronics limited, bharat heavy electrical limited, national thermal power plant, bhaba atomic research centre, NPCIL,ONGC, airport authority of India etc..). - by GATE rank followed by interview and some public sector units having their own written exam followed by GD and interview.
Indian Space Research Organisation :Written exam followed by interview by government of India.
Railways exam: Railway also recruits ece engineers as junior and senior section engineer. Exams are normally written objective type followed by interview..
If you want your career in teaching field then you should write GATE exam, score good rank and do M. Tech with good college.. Write UGC NET exam and be a good ranker and be a professor of a government college.
Hi Harjas,

You may also look for colleges like Amity,JIIT Noida, Thapar Patiala or Manipal. These are some of the reputed private colleges in India.
Best wishes!
Hello student,
IIIT Bhagalpur is one of the worst IIIT exist. As this IIIT doesn't have proper infrastructure. As you know that IIIT Bhagalpur is situated in flooded area due to which many time classes remain closed. So, there will be a advice for you to not join there whereas you can join some good private college instead of these IIIT.
Cheers!
Hey,
There is no chance that you can grab a seat in any IIIT but there it is possible that you can get any government engineering college.
As you belong to OBC category you might get admission in government engineering colleges but they will only be the decent ones.
The link given below will help you out with the list of top government engineering colleges-

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
