ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
With this rank it will be difficult for you to get a seat in a NIT or IIIT. Even if you are able to get a seat in any NIT or IIIT your branch will still be an issue. Although you can also try for other GFTIs and state level Engineering colleges and Universities which are also good. You van also tryvfor the special round of JOSAA counselling. Hope this helps.

Hello Dinesh,
According to your rank in SC category in JEE Mains and considering the last year's cut-off in core branches , it would be tough to get admission in NIT Bhopal. You could only get Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering.
And For mechanical branch in IIIT Jabalpur I would like to tell you that it has best faculty among all the branches available there. Placements are good with highest of 21 LPA for 5 students in 2015 and then 14 LPA and 9 LPA for 20 students.
Good Luck!

All the best!!!
Hello mridul
The selection of department is completely dependent on your choice. This will be dependent on your interest of field.
If you are compromised with any department then chemical engineering in nit is far more better than IT or CSE in IIIT's. Chemical engineering is one of the oldest departments in our country and even there are so many opportunities in this department and even for it and cse dept also. But the nit tag matters alot.
Make sure that the nit would be old nits or top 15 then it will be more beneficial to you.
All the best for your future.
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
