College Infrastructure

Hi, I am Aditi and I am pursuing my MBA from LPU . It has great great infrastructure, as has very vast area of different departments. They have separate hostels for girls and boys. Swimming pool, cricket academy ,indoor sports room, gym and may more. Which eventually attracts me to go to the college regularly.

Academics

Talking about academics. The teachers are very well trained and professional. The university has all degree options available whether management, engineering and so on. They are also providing online program as well for someone who are working but want to pursue regular degree online.

Placements

I am still pursuing my 3rd sem but company has already started coming for online interviews and campus as well. Faculty members are also proving mock interviews for preparing student for their "the day". Many MNCs come here for recruitment which is good thing.

Value for Money

I found it quite pricey as compare to other colleges, I would say that there can be some less in fee factor, overall it is good to study here but for the students who can struggle with fees can go through with LPUNEST exam and score well so that you can get the benefit of scholarship as well.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good, as some or other day there is something related to cultural activities always goes on, which keeps student confident and outspoken. The college has canteen, tennis room, gym, swimming pool and a lot of activities to do.

My experience was best in the college as the faculty was highly qualified and the labs were equipped with the best equipments. On farm training was great for deep understanding of the subject. One thing that can be improved was the student intake. Small batches should be encouraged

Academics

I was studying Bsc agriculture and it was good experience. I came to know about various subjects and aspects lf agriculture such as agriculture economics, post harvest management, agriculture informatics, agronomy, entomology.

Placements

Placements are not as good as it should be according to the fee structure they are charging. Moreover the company’s they bring to the campus are generally of sales and marketing rather than the domain

Value for Money

The roi is poor, the cost of living is very expensive inside campus, A normal plate meal will cost more than a hundred rupee. Everything you see here is expensive. Though the fee structure is normal. There are various other expenses that add up

Yes my college had all the necessary infrastructure equipments and facilities required for the modern education and the classrooms were also neat and clean and Wi-Fi facilities are also available and the living spaces are also clean.

Academics

I studied here bachelor of technology in aerospace engineering and the quality of teaching offered here was good and the curriculum was up to date and it included all the recent developments in the field.

Placements

Quality of placements offered here is quite decent but mostly the offers are grabbed by the computer science students and they do really well through this college. The placement process is not at all easy but the college staff is supportive.

The college infrastructure is awesome with all the latest facilities. One of the best infrastructures among private colleges in India. The hostels have lifts and separate rooms for everyone. The hostel food is also good.

Academics

The academics here is good. I am currently enrolled in Computer science and engineering and currently in the first year of the course. The faculties are dedicated and supportive in the teaching process. The curriculum is updated.

Placements

The only thing that is not good is the placements. The college done not have proper arrangements for placements. Most of the students have to find a job off campus. The college's placements quality is also very poor and mostly the mass recruiters take intake from the campus.

LPU is outstanding with its infrastructure. It has very attractive buildings and a wide area. It showcase the culture of India by the kind of campus it has. Its campus is very big, one can definitely get tired walking the whole campus.

Academics

I preferred LPU in India othet than any different university because it is well recognised in outer countries also for its academics. After coming from Zimbabwe to here to pursue my degree, I realized that it is really very good university in terms of academics.

Placements

Personally I do not know much about the placements here. Yes I know that doing internships is compulsory here after 2nd year, in summer break. In 4th year, students can do internships as well as they can go with continuing the studies of 4th year. University helps students in getting good internships.

Value for Money

Pursuing a degree can be very expensive if you pursue it from outside of your country. After coming here, I do not think that it is very costly for me here. I stay outside of campus and it is comparatively less costlier to live outside than in hostels.

Campus Life

Campus life of LPU is great. Facilities are good and things are well maintained. There is cleanliness all around. No illegal activities can take place inside the campus as there is total security inside with a lot of cameras and guards.

College Infrastructure

LPU is a very famous university and very big in size. It is said to be spread in 600 acres of area which is very big for a private university. At starting, LPU had only 1 building in 2005 but now it has more than 70 buildings which itself is the proof of its growing infrastructure.

Academics

Academics are good at this university. It has highly qualified teachers. Mechanical deoartment has its separate block under which mechanical, automobile, aerospace and mechatronics come. We are taught everything from theory to practical and design. Students are advised to follow books as well as notes to prepare for exams here.

Placements

Placements are average. Average package of Mechanical department is nearly 4 lpa which is less in terms of expectations. International students are given some extra support to grab a placement. Earlier LPU had more connections to big companies but now it is less.

Value for Money

Yes I feel that I am getting the worth of my money here. I am from Bangladesh and studying here has made me realize that I can develop my skills into multiple other things. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic for VISA renewal and all those formalities but in the end, it is beneficial to study from LPU.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. LPU has very high strength of students out of which more than 50% are from South India. One can live a multicultural life here at LPU and learn a lot of new things and skills. Hostel food is good.

I am a student from Zimbabwe and I love the infrastructure of LPU. It is a mixture of modernised architecture and greenery. Labs and libraries are there inside the university campus. One can get different different types of foods here as there are many food shops. Hostels are also good.

Academics

In academics of Aerospace Engineering, we are taught subjects such as fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, Aerodynamics, Space Science, Aircraft design etc. It is good to study from highly experienced and knowledgeable staff of LPU. They are very supportive and kind to us.

Placements

Placements are not good in LPU. Maybe other departments are good at placements such as computer science, business, sports, etc. but Aerospace department is not good enough in terms of providing placements to its students. The average packages as well as hiring rate is very less.

Value for Money

The university provides quality education at affordable fee structure. Fees for international students is comparatively more than that of the Indian students. Yes I feel that this university is value for money because there are many things that I am learning here and getting a good exposure.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. I made many friends from India. No ragging is there inside this university. I participated in university games also where I got full support from everyone. There are fun activities that keep on taking place here such as dance, drama, concerts, etc.

College Infrastructure

Being an international student at LPU, I can very well say that this university's infrastructure is one of the best things about it. It has a lot of facilities inside the campus which makes it attractive for the students from different countries enroll here.

Academics

The studies are good here. Teachers are very helpful and kind. Lectures are provided in English language only so that everyone can understand well. Sometimes when some things are spoken in Hindi or any other regional languages of India, Professors translate it to English afterwards so that international students understand what has been said. In academics, LPU has provided immense support to all its students.

Placements

I have heard that placements at LPU are not good enough. Some companies come here for recruitment but not many are recruited. The starting salary that students get from here is not very high. Maybe LPU should improve the placements.

Value for Money

For international students, fees are a bit more as compared to the Indian students. The fee has to be paid before the start of each semester otherwise the semester timetable and roll numbers are not allotted to the student. The fees is much less if I compare it to the colleges in my country.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. The university never feels lonely as there are thousands of students that study here. I met many of the international students which makes me feel like I am studying in my own country.

LPU's infrastructure stands as the main attraction of this institution. It has many facilities inside the campus such as library, computer labs, chemistry and physics labs, e rickshaw, etc. It is very big in size.

Academics

Academics are good. More value is there for CSE branch than of BCA/MCA. Teachers are good and provide proper guidance to the students. Students do work on their on systems not in the computer labs of LPU.

Placements

Placements are average. Not very good average packages for Computer Application branch. Teachers give letter of recommendation to students so that they get hired by top companies. It is better to take placements from outside if someone wants to have good packages.

Value for Money

I have chosen LPU because it has provided me with 50% scholarship which I attained after scoring good marks in LPUNEST exam. LPU gives good facilities at such low fee structure. My fees per year is just 2lpa after the scholarship.

Campus Life

I personally love the campus life of LPU a lot. It has a wide range of things that one can enjoy. From sports to cultural events, there are multiple that one can enjoy here. I enjoy with friends a lot at the mall inside the campus.
