    Life at MUJ

    College Infrastructure

We have world class infrastructure. Also the lab equipment is quite phenomenal, and the classrooms as well as the faculty blocks are very well equipped. It's centralized air conditioned throughout which is really helpful for the summer semester.

    Academics

The faculty show keen interest in trying to explain new concepts to us on a regular basis. We also have a variety of courses to select from which gives the students the option to study whatever they please and helps them attain an all around development.

    Placements

In just a span of 8 years our placements have increased by quite a lot which is a very good sign for the college. We have had various companies coming to our college for placements and now with NAAC Accreditation of A+ hopefully it'll get even better in the coming years.

    Value for Money

We are provided with a lot of amenities which helps us to experience college life in the best possible way. So far the experience has been pretty great so I would say that we have received value for money.

    Campus Life

There's numerous events throughout the academic year which keeps the students busy/entertained throughout. We have various outlets present within college which allow us to indulge our desires to eat other food items as well which sometimes may not be available in the mess.

    Others

Overall my 2 years in Manipal University Jaipur have been pretty good so far and looking forward to the remaining 2 years as well. And for anyone who is considering joining Manipal University Jaipur. You should join without any hesitation.

    Manipal University Jaipur

    College Infrastructure

Manipal University Jaipur has one of the best infrastructure all over India. It has all the necessary facilities, equipments and laboratory required. Our classes are quite spacious, with good air conditioning and of course projector to aid teachers in teaching. Our college has one of the biggest library and has almost every book. For sports, our college has always supported students to excel in sports besides academics. Hostels are also good. WiFi is fast and good connectivity all over the campu

    Academics

I'm 2nd year student studying Information Technology BTech here at Manipal University Jaipur. Method of teaching are upto the standards. Recently NAAC gave our college A+ rating. Personally i think it can be improved. Curriculum is according to the UGC's suggestion.

    Placements

Our college claims 100% placement. Each student gets atleast 1 offer. All major MNC's visit our college and hire students from our college. Average package is about 5 to 6 lakhs. But it can be improved.

    Value for Money

Our college is quite expensive but nowadays it's same story at every private university. It costs around 8-10 Lakhs per year including my expenses. It is bit more than what I'm getting here. Not totally worth it.

    Campus Life

Campus life is best. I couldn't have imagined anything else. It is what i have always imagined. It has everything i need. Teachers are 24×7 available. No ragging. I'm not just saying this, i have neither experienced nor saw any student being bullied. Seniors are very friendly.

    Wonderful

    College Infrastructure

The college offers tip class infrastructure in all aspects ranging from academic to recreational. It is rated as one of the most beautiful campuses in India. Highly equipped classrooms, WiFi throughout the campus and several other facilities are provided.

    Academics

The course and curriculum is up to date, some teachers are very good while others are average. The first year includes courses from all engineering backgrounds and from the 2nd year you are trained in your respective fields.

    Placements

Placement is good especially for SCIT although other branches also have a fair share of placements. The college is supportive and has a dedicated placement cell, several top companies come from placements if you have the skills you will get a good package.

    Value for Money

The college is expensive but the facilities and life compensate for it. You'll get everything you need AC rooms etc also faculty is good enough, if you work hard you can do wonders. Although the college still might be expensive for some.

    Campus Life

Campus Life is too good you have everything you need and it is very happening and fun. Several activities take place all the time. The student crowd is good. The location is calm and silent, the campus is completely safe and one can enjoy life here with no worries.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure and hostels are well maintained. We have all types of amenities and the food served is hygienic and has variety in it. The library provides us all kinds of books we need. Wifi is provided to us and sports facilty is really good.

    Academics

I am pursuing B.tech in CSE because I am more inclined towarda the coding sector. Yes what we study makes us Job ready. Our curriculum is updated and our college recently recieved the A+ validation from the NAAC committe.

    Placements

Placements aren't that great. But I believe in the upcoming years it is going to improve. Average salary offered at present is 7lakhs. I haven't been through the placement process yet though. Yes, our college is definitely very supportive.

    Value for Money

My course costs me 5lakhs per year.I don't think it's worth regarding the academics and placements, but the infrastructure deserves what we pay. Regarding the academics it is not because of the placement opportunities.

    Campus Life

Students can engage themselves various types of technical and cultural clubs. There are different type of fests that take place in the campus. It is located 30kms away from the main city. It is safe, but travelling costs a lot.

    Others

I have an amazing experience here. I have good friends, and also I am not dissapointed with my academics lately. I hope for a bright future ahead and I am going to work harder for my personality development and academics.

COULDN'T EXPECT ENGINEERING TO BE SO GOOD!!

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Honestly, I couldn't expect better infrastructure. The campus is huge. Our classrooms are air conditioned and have all the modern technology required. The laboratories and the libraries are huge. In the hostel, we do have a sports centre and retinue of grounds for a plethora of sports. The hostel and college campus is equipped with WiFi although we do face issues with them a couple of times. The living spaces are clean, helpers come regularly for the room maintenance, the food is hygienic too.

    Academics

The quality of teaching is quite good, the teaching style is mostly interactive which makes the learning process fun. The project opportunities are also ample, which is something that I love the most.

    Placements

I would say the quality of placements at our college is improving year by year. The training and placement cell works very hard to get good companies for placements. From what I've heard from seniors, the classes conducted by the TNP cell are very helpful too to bag the best placement possible. The highest salary package on-campus was 42 lakhs given to 17 students. So, I guess the placements are really good too.

    Value for Money

The education is top-notch, whether it is formal through books and course materials or informal, knowing how the world runs. The amount of extra-curricular activities to take part in gives one an all-round education.

    Campus Life

Couldn't have asked for a better campus life, the hostel and campus is lively at all times. There's always something or the other going on.

    Others

All I would say that coming to this college has helped me not only grow academically but also as a person. And I feel that is very important in today's world. Throughout my time pursuing BTech IT out here, I've developed soft skills as well as adequate technical knowledge.

Four years of fun and freedom

    College Infrastructure

My college is a well maintained safe environment to be in. It is equipped with all the facilities for the children for better adjustments. Living spaces are absolutely clean and are taken care of thrice a week.

    Academics

I am a third year student studying Information Technology. Our corriculum is updated time to time and also with how the trend is changing. Faculty is nice to deal with and very helpful. This course is always what I wanted to do.

    Placements

Good placement records uptil now. Many companies have come to our college for both technical and non technical background studennts. Being an Information Technology students I can say that upto 98% students to get a college placement at the end.

    Value for Money

Money is being used in the right place.

    Campus Life

All activities including gym, swimming pool, outdoor sports and indoor sports. Has a lot of restaurants. And a huge mess.

Manipal University helped me become confident

    College Infrastructure

My college has an amazing infrastructure. There are great air conditioned classrooms with whiteboards and chalkboards and a connection for projector. We have multiple libraries, sports centres, huge hostels and various labs. Various kinds of clean food is available too. Also, cleanliness is maintained properly.

    Academics

I am studying BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. We get to learn a lot of interesting things on a daily basis. Other than an up to date syllabus, we get proper attention from the outstanding faculty.

    Placements

90% of the students are currently placed from the 4th year. The lowest is around 5 LPA and the highest is 15 LPA. Many more companies are yet to come. Since I am still in the 4th semester of my course, I have not gone through placement interviews.

    Value for Money

BA in Journalism and Mass Communication costs around Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000 per year. This is just the tuition fee. Hostel fees, mess fees, travel expenses and food expenses are not included. And the university is about 30KMS away from the main city. So, it is expensive for sure.

    Campus Life

College campus is huge and carries the opportunity to engage in various activities. However, the activities are mostly conducted after working hours which makes it almost impossible for day scholars to participate in activities. The location is near Bagru. There is a police station in that area and ambulances are ready to get people to hospitals if the need arises.

Have a question related to Manipal University, Jaipur ?

I got 121 score in MET 2025 and 86% PCM in board exams. What would be my predicted Rank and can I get CSE in MUJ Campus?

    Hello Vishal,

With a score of 121 in MET 2025 and 86% in PCM board exams , here's a general analysis:

    Predicted Rank:

    • A MET score of 121 typically falls in the 15,000 to 18,000 rank range , though this can slightly vary each year based on exam difficulty and student performance.

    • Since MET does not officially release detailed rank-score data, this estimate is based on past trends and analysis.

Chances for CSE at MUJ (Manipal University Jaipur):

    • CSE at MUJ is one of the most in-demand branches, and usually the closing rank lies around 8,000 to 10,000 .

    • With a predicted rank around 15,000 to 18,000 , getting CSE at MUJ is quite unlikely in the initial rounds .

    • However, you may have a chance in the later rounds or spot rounds if seats remain vacant or cutoff drops.

      Recommendations:

    • Consider applying for branches like ECE, IT, or Data Science , which have slightly higher closing ranks.

    • Keep checking counselling rounds regularly for any updates or vacant seats.

    • You can also look at internal sliding options after first year, based on academic performance.

I would recommend you to use MET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

I got 82 marks in met out of 240 what are my chances of getting a cse branch in Manipal University Jaipur

Scoring 82 out of 240 in the Manipal Entrance Test means your r ank is likely to be above 40,000, based on previous years’ trends. Unfortunately, this rank is quite low for CSE Stream at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), especially at the main Manipal campus.

A general idea of MET rank cutoffs for CSE at Manipal:

    • Manipal campus (main): CSE cutoffs are typically under 3,000–4,000 rank.

    • Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) and Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) may have higher cutoff ranks for CSE — sometimes up to 15,000–20,000 or more.

I got 141/240 in MET for Msc clinical psychology at Manipal University. Can i expect an interview call , if yes by when do they inform about that? What are the chances of me getting admissions ?

    Hello Aspirant,

MET (Manipal Entrance Test) cutoff for an M.Sc. program at Manipal University is above 190. Candidates are advised to secure minimum 190 marks or above out of the total 240 marks. This will allow the candidates to have a higher chance of securing admissions into their preferred course and campus.

According to your marks, may be you wont get into your preferred course but these are possible chances that you might get another course and campus with this range of marks. The authorities will consider various factors while preparing the cutoff of MET 2025, such as the previous year's trends, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, the number of applicants, the total number of seats available, etc. The MET 2025 cutoff will vary as per the candidate's selected category, course and campus. MET 2025 seat allotment will be done as per the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability.

For more information and details you can visit the official website of this university. The link is attached herewith.

    https://www.manipal.edu/mu/admission/indian-students/online-entrance-exam-overview.html

If you are selected for an interview at Manipal Institute of Communication after your Manipal Entrance Test (MET), you will be informed of the interview date and time through email, according to the institute's website. The Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) are part of the admission process, and the dates are communicated separately to the candidates. You will receive an email communication at every step of the admission process.

I hope you got your answer. All the best.
