The JoSAA releases the cutoff JEE & NIT after the completion of entrance Exam. Although, I have provided you a link below which will help you to clear some more technical doubts. https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-calicut/amp
Hello aspirant
As you got 98 percentile in JEE Mains. Also, you have an obc quota so according to the previous cutoffs there are good chances for you to get CS branch in NIT Calicut. As, you have home state quota also, then you can get admission in 2th or 3rd round of counselling. According to previous cutoff your CRL and OBC ranks are good to get you in the CS branch at NIT Calicut. Hope this helps.
You can't score Your Percentile on the basis of Marks because Percentile depend on a lot of other factors too which are equally important. Because Students are less this time and also Paper Variation also affects a lot. So One can't decide easily the percentile on the basis of marks.
Your Overall Percentile is: 94.47 - 94.67
Your Predicted Rank is: 48980 - 59130
So Let's Wait for the Result and Hope for the Best You will score good.
Even You belong to OBC Category so you can get seat into good colleges very easily.
But For NIT Calicut it might be difficult in getting CS but you can check other branches also.
I will recommend you to check All The Colleges, That are available for You on basis of your rankings and Reservation, Then You can also check that at Our JEE MAINS COLLEGE Predictor. That will be very helpful for You.

Hello
PAIDIKALA YESUKRISHNA
, If you want admission in CSE branch of any of the college: NIT WARANGAL, NIT CALICUT, NIT THIRUCHIRAPALLI, NIT SURATHKAL, NIT ROURKELA and IIIT HYDERABAD then you must be give the exam of JEE mains 2020 because all the mention colleges are required cutoff of JEE Mains.
And you know your expected marks then mention there because without marks it is impossible to say.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hello Aspirant,
NIT Calicut ranks 23 by NIRF while NIT Surathkal has NIRF rank of 13 which makes it better than NIT Calicut and other NITs.
Talking about faculties, NIT Surathkal has more better faculty where most of them are from thermal backgrounds.
Placements are satisfactory in both the NITs but for the deeper higher knowledge NIT Surathkal is far better.
Infrastructure is good in both the NITs.
Taking these factors into consideration, I will suggest you to go for NIT Surathkal Thermal Engineering course.
All the best!!
Hello,
You haven't mentioned whether you belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-CL, if you come under OBC-CL then you are considered as general category. Your overall category rank is expected to be around 6084 and you can calculate it by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100 where 112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE Main Paper 2 in January session 2020. Your category rank will be around 1000. In 2019 the cut off was as follows
NIT, Calicut
NIT, Trichy
You may not get seat in neither of the institutes if you belong to OBC-CL but you may have chances of getting seat in NIT, Calicut if you belong to OBC-NCL category. Cut off in 2020 changes depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available and difficulty of exam.
We are having good lab facilities, xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus, but inside hostel, canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????
One of the largest engineering colleges in Kerala build a long time back standing out in infrastructure and a large campus. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate the large population of students, especially the first year classrooms, seminar halls and auditoriums are the finest. Regular maintainance of living spaces keeps it clean and tidy. Food is good offering us to try a very vast variety of cuisines across India all in one place.
There is not a single facility or infrastructure that I cannot find in the campus. Well equipped and well maintained. No issues with hostel food or hostel services or anything of the sort. Wifi available in almost every spot.
