Boards marks x 2+Nata score
If u have applied for keam architecture you will be getting seat in govt college. If you haven't applied it is impossible for u to get into govt college. You will have to look seats in management.
In kerala there are only 4 architecture colleges
According to their ranking:
1)CET
2)TKM
3)RIT
4)School of architecture thrissur

NIT won't accept NATA score.

PAIDIKALA YESUKRISHNA , If you want admission in CSE branch of any of the college: NIT WARANGAL, NIT CALICUT, NIT THIRUCHIRAPALLI, NIT SURATHKAL, NIT ROURKELA and IIIT HYDERABAD then you must be give the exam of JEE mains 2020 because all the mention colleges are required cutoff of JEE Mains.

And you know your expected marks then mention there because without marks it is impossible to say.

Looking at previous years cut-off for JEE Mains in general category was 90 percentile, so if the percentile doesn't vary too much or goes low upto 1 or 2 percentile, then sorry you're not qualified in JEE Mains and if you're not qualified in JEE Mains then you're not eligible to take admission in any NIT.

NIT Calicut ranks 23 by NIRF while NIT Surathkal has NIRF rank of 13 which makes it better than NIT Calicut and other NITs.

Talking about faculties, NIT Surathkal has more better faculty where most of them are from thermal backgrounds.

Placements are satisfactory in both the NITs but for the deeper higher knowledge NIT Surathkal is far better.

Infrastructure is good in both the NITs.

Taking these factors into consideration, I will suggest you to go for NIT Surathkal Thermal Engineering course.

You haven't mentioned whether you belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-CL, if you come under OBC-CL then you are considered as general category. Your overall category rank is expected to be around 6084 and you can calculate it by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100 where 112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE Main Paper 2 in January session 2020. Your category rank will be around 1000. In 2019 the cut off was as follows

NIT, Calicut

• General: 1362
• OBC-NCL: 804

NIT, Trichy

• General: 1075
• OBC-NCL: 652

You may not get seat in neither of the institutes if you belong to OBC-CL but you may have chances of getting seat in NIT, Calicut if you belong to OBC-NCL category. Cut off in 2020 changes depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available and difficulty of exam.

While it is a bit ambiguous with what you are comparing NIT Surathakal Nanotech. But talking in general, these two colleges are more or less in same level. If a company visits either of the two colleges, it generally visits the other too.

Speaking of general placements, past recruiters of both the colleges features traditional heavyweights. Even in the department like nanoscience. You will be having a secured future and can think of other parameters leaving placements aside.

Personally speaking, I going for NIT Surathakal might be a better option keeping in mind it's location and other things.

You got 98.4 percentile in JEE main exam, your rank would be approximately in between 1500 to 2000. Also, you can check your expected rank using the formula:

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 2 are 112680, your rank will be around 1750. On the basis of your percentile, the you will get these college:

Cut-off for JEE 2020 hasn't been released yet. But we can get an idea through privious year cutoffs. Cut-off mainly depends on various factors such as number of seats, students appeared for exam, etc. Joint seat allocation authority ( JoSAA) will release the cut-off for Maulana Azad College.

If you look at previous year cut off ranking of nit Calicut computer science its around 10k so I suggest  that if your score is 99 percentile or above you can easily get that and yes it's however based on the no. Of candidates having priority choice of that college so you should mainly focus on securing good percentile in upcoming jee

If you belong to OBC-CL then you are considered as general category candidate. If you belong to OBC-NCL then your category rank is expected to be in between 11000-14000.

So you may not get seat in NIT Calicut if you belong to OBC-CL but if you belong to OBC-NCL you might have slight chances of getting seat in CSE in NIT, Calicut. You don't have chances of getting seat in NIT, Trichy based on previous year cut off. However, cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease slightly.
