NIT Hamirpur (NITH) All Questions

Well if your home state quota is himachal pradesh then I think you can surely get atleast Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT hamirpur although I cannot say for certain about the Computer Science and Engineering branch as it is the most sought after branch.

Hi Candidate! In order to get admission in nit hamirpur one should have to secure atleast 99.25 percentile in your jee mains. There is no chance to get a cse branch but you can try for ece branch. And if you have state domicile then it is very helpful for you.

Since the branch covers both degrees from CSE, that speaks volumes of the scope it comes with.

The placement would be decent. Given it also covers M. Tech., It will also open your chances of research in the upcoming future. Research in neural networks, IOT etc are the talk of the town.

You have got quite good rank but remember taht when you get admission in new iit then there aee chance that the. Government might promote these firstly comming batch to great height they might focus on you more importantly bif you wanna join nit then its ilao good as nit cse branch is one of the best in todays era og engineers.

I see that you have secured 5000 rank in OBC category . But you haven't specified that you are home state quota or other state quota . 

If you are home state quota then according to previous year closing rank you are definitely getting CSE in nit Hamirpur. 

But if you are from other state then you fall just short of it. You won't get according to previous year rank.

I see that you have got  a rank of 25370 in OBC category in females quota. But you haven't mentioned that you are home state or other state. 

If you are home state then you can easily get a branch in 5-6 round. 

If you are other state , then it would be quite hard to get a seat in nit Hamirpur.

I see that you have got 25590 rank in sc category. And you want to join nit Hamirpur. 

You have got a decent rank but I don't think it's going to help in getting a college. i.e. nit Hamirpur.

But your rank is too much when compared to previous year cutoff. Maximum it went upto 10000 rank approx. And yours is just double the rank.

See it is pretty hard to tell that which college will you get based in your ews rank. As ews rank has been included first time this year so we don't have a particular record . So we can't assure you that will you get a good college.

A lot of students face this kind of dilemma during JOSAA counseling. Since it looks you are more inclined towards CSE and IT departments you should go for a college that has a better coding culture. Among these colleges IIIT Gwalior has the best coding culture.
