Unfortunately for you, the cut-offs for NITs get closed above 90 percentile(minimum) for the generic courses. Secondly, you don't have any other reservation either, so it's difficult. But you should still try, and not lose hope. You can try for the NITs by setting a preference list according to the course and college that you want, and using JoSAA counseling and rounds. All the best for your process, hope you get the college and course that you want!

Hello,

NIT Hamirpur is one of the reputed college in india but it is mostly for B.tech students,i mean like Btech students get high packages like upto 20 lakh per annum and average is 6 lakh per annum.M.tech students gets packages of about 7 lakh per annum mostly on an average. For your branch in Previous year placement from 8 students 2 got selected with 7 lakh per annum from the college. But at last placement depends upon your hardwork .Good companies like Amazon, samsung, flipkart,BPL and many more.I'm providing you the previous year placement list ,check the link below.I hope it helped.

Hello dear student
Greetings
You dear student you can not get a seat in decent  colleges like NIT because of low marks in you board exam.
For admissions toNITs/IIITs/GFTIs:

Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
thankyou

Hi there!!!! If you wish to do Mtech then it is really a good option. It will save your one year and will be able to graduate from a NIT which is again good. NITs have good reputation and there is definitely scope in whatever you do in college provided you work very hard for it.NIT will open a lot of doors of opportunities for you. It is up to you if you can take advantage of it and work towards it. To summarise , if you are determined and sure that you work off hard those 5 years, then it is definitely a good carrer choice and there is certainly scope in it. So believe in yourself and go for it!! Best of luck!!

Hello aspirant,
If you are from himachal Pradesh, ie if you get home state quota you can get cse in nit hamirpur as previous year closing rank for cse in nit hamirpur was around 32k, but if you are from other state then chances are very less as closing rank for other state people was around 3.2k .
You can check our college predictor for more information.

You have been offered this seat, right?
If yes, then that is because you have cleared the entrance exam so you must move further in this round. The rest depends on the faculty.

The counselling for JEE B arch will start in the fourth week of June, 2019. The cut-off for B arch in NIT Hamirpur was 888 for OBC last year. This year's cut-offs are also expected to be similar. So you do not have any chance of admission in NUT Hamirpur, unless you have home state quota.

Hello aspirate

Your rank is good being SC candidate you have chances of getting nit but getting Cse branch is somewhat difficult to predict, Since cut off varies every year. Please use career360 jee mains college predictor to know the colleges you can get with this rank
