Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query definitely NIT Jamshedpur will top the list because it was ranked 79 by NIRF which is a very good rank compared to IIIT Kalyani. Also the placements if compared NIT has a more decent placement as 70-80% students got placed last year. The highest package offered by the college for CSE last year was 22 LPA while the average was 5 LPA. Very good companies come here for campusing. So NIT would be a good choice. Hey!

See, both the colleges are quite famous. NIt jamshedpur is popular because of its NIT tag and its facilities with good placement records and is counted among top NITs. On the other hand MSRIT is quite famous engineering college in karnataka under KCET entrance exam , it also has good facilities and placement records for core branches. But if you are confusing to choose any of these to get admission , then you are advised to choose NIt if you are getting your desired seat there. But if you are getting you are getting CSe or ECE in MSRIt then join that.

Hope I answered your query.

Thankyou

Hello there,

Both colleges are good but BIT Mesra was under rank 30 in NIRF whereas NIT Jamshedpur as around 150. And if you opting for computer science and engineering then you should go for BIT Mesra. Because only in CSE/ IT branch BIT Mesra have more placement offers but if you consider other courses then NIT Jamshedpur is better.

Good luck!!

Hello,

The placements of NIT Jamshedpur is getting better in respective branches from past few years. When it comes to ECE department the placements are really good. One can have good chances in their domain of “interest” like core ,Software or analytics. This is the MAIN ASSET of ECE in NIT JSR.core companies like L&T,Siemens, commscope etc.. and software side many companies like Amazon, oracle,UHG etc..Also few analytics companies like ZS,mu sigma, exl, etc.are visited & ECE guys are placed in every domain with a good number.

Regards.

hello aspirant,

well your percentile of 94.7 is good enough for getting admission in nits. since the cutoff for this year have not been declared yet. you have to wait till the cutoff is out.

as per the previous year cutoffs are concerned your percentile is good enough for admission in nit jsr with the obc quota. you have to wait for the rounds of josaa allotement.

Hello student. Both of these institutions are really good in their own ways. But in comparative terms, nit jamshedpur is better than nit Sichar.  In terms of infrastructure, college life and placements too. It is really a good university.

You can consider the following factors

Here are the factors you can consider:

Infrastructure and college life:

It has a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice enviroment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

F aculty and quality of education:

All the faculties are well qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the therotical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements:

Placements are really good as many good companies visit this college. Most of the students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from wide range of companies.

According to our website, it is very good rated one.

Dear student,
In mechanical engineering you have to do a lot of hard work. Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and reputed branch of engineering field.
You have to perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. You have to oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
You have to continuously work in constant heat and pressure and also have to work with tools.
And normally in India most of the girls do not opt for mechanical engineering.
And in almost the colleges of india, in mechanical engineering branch the girl to boy ratio is 1: 40, 1:50 or 1:70.
And at many places it is zero means no girl in mechanical engineering branch.

In Nit Jamshedpur's mechanical engineering branch, the girl to boy ratio is only one girl out of 60 to 70 boys. The ratio is better in CSE , EC and Electrical but that's far from normal.
But if you want mechanical engineering and you have interest for it, then go for it without thinking about the ratio of girl to boy.
