hi,
see nit jamshedpur is best for its b.tech course. however as per m.tech course the placement statistics is not very promising. placement offers is comparatively less for m.tech students then b.tech. cse departments is highest placement record.
so from my point of view and as per students review it would be quite challenging to secure a decent position of work in core engineering stream after completing m.tech from nit jamshedpur. as per most of the nits m.tech placement scenario, cse department has best placement record among other streams. for m.tech course and best placement opportunity iits, iiits, iisc , bits are best.
hope you understand.

Dear Student,
As you have completed your 12th from Jharkhand so that will be enough to show the resident of Jharkhand, still if they ask you to attach the OBC certificate they you can easily create that certificate if you have the Aadhar Card of Jharkhand address.
You can directly apply the certificate form from any cyber cafe. Colleges have written in their instruction notice also that you have to submit the newly created document except qualification, so this time you can create caste certificate from Jharkhand.
Best Of Luck!!!
Hello,
Considering the previous year cut off in CSAB special round 1 for OBC-NCL (other state) you have decent chances of getting seat in ECE in the above mentioned NITs. The cut off is as follows
Cut off changes depending on number of candidates applied, difficulty of exam and number of vacant seats available etc.
You can also use our JEE Main college predictor to know the colleges you may get seat https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hello,
Both the institutes together are very different. AIT has a good reputation as a technical institute. Studying at Army college will shape you in forms of discipline and punctuality.
Where as,NIT Jamshedpur is after all a NIT and we all know that a BTech degree with a tag of IIT or NIT will always make a difference and will have more value.
Placements are good at AIT too but by solely considering the placements you can't judge any college,it will provide you a decent degree with an army background from the affiliated university and you may even get a good placement where as NIT Jamshedpur will provide you a national level experience with all the scholars around India and the experience will be way too different from AIT Pune. But a degree from NIT will always hold a great value. So it's upto you, decide what kind of experience you really want and then go ahead.
I hope this helps

The infrastructure of college and hostels is good .The library, academic buildings, grounds, and labs buildings are very good level. The facility of food in the mess is also good.Medical facilities are available 24/7. There are doctors for concerned about your diseases.
As a adult now pursuing my masters from National Institute Of Technology Jamshedpur. If we have to say something about infrastructure so that is great no doubt all the basic necessities are present in the college whether it be mess, hostel rooms and what not.
A tremendously amazing Institute of india, NIT Jamshedpur is having a beautiful Campus along with smart classrooms , developed laboratories and full wifi facility in the campus. But the mess food is not that much good.
