Hey , there are around 30 students in Biotechnology branch in NIT Rourkela according to the recent most seat allotment matrix.

Since both are NIT's and are one among the top so select which one you have more interest, mechanical or CSE. As in the present scenario, CSE have more scope in future so i'll prefer CSE at NIT Rourkela.

let me infrom you that chemical engineering has been on the course list of NIT Rourkela for a quiet long time and the faculty is queit remarkable as reviewed but the placement parameter is average on the scale.
