Else if you love mechanics and machines and would love to work on field and outdoors go for mechanical.
There is a choice for you where you can choose by branch or college.
The final choice has to be yours.
You should compare both the branches in terms of placement scenarios, course content and your interest.
And while comparing the colleges look for facilities, exposure and faculty members.
Choose according to what suits you the best.
Hi Niraj Sanjay.
As you are able to get both seats, just go for what suites you the best. CS and ME are 2 entirely different fields. I had a similar situation, with CS and ME. I didn't knoew what to choose... As, CS has a lot of opportunities, but I like ME more... What I did was that... I went for ME... It's only because, I liked it more. And, I don't have any regrets about it. Study for the career that you love. And... don't think that CS is only coding and ME is only about machines. There are a lot to study, so, you should have an interest in it. It's you life, and you're the one to take the decision. Go for what your mind says.
Good Luck.
Hello,
Since both are NIT's and are one among the top so select which one you have more interest, mechanical or CSE. As in the present scenario, CSE have more scope in future so i'll prefer CSE at NIT Rourkela.
Thank you
