The college's campus is very huge and the infrastructure is astonishing to look at. The college is near the highway so most of the things are easily available to you due to better connectivity with the city and market.
The academics is supported by very well-experienced teachers so that if you're willing to do research it will surely help you in your future endeavors and betterment. It gives you great experience practically and theoretically as well.
The placements are so great for the CS students that they should join it without any second thought because it offers you great and immense opportunities in the field of CS. For other branches, it is average.
Infrastructure is grt sufficiently enough big and well built campus size but lift feels irritating while u r late already lab are available good well maintened buildings
faculty are good mostly with few exception easily could score around 8.5 nd i consider it to be good enough
its okaish kind as u could expect from a such type of clg but not far what u see in ads as per thier stats not even close
my opinionn is that its highly expensive nd wont be good for many for the same reason as u can get better at cheaper fees
good events for north indians are not much of a good
overall good but expensive nd price paid i dont guess it gets justified
This college has an outstanding beautiful and greenish environment. There are numerous buildings. It has Aisa's second largest Auditorium. The campus has centralised Aircondition especially in classroom.
I completed B.tech Genetical engineering. Teachers are highly qualified professionals as everyone are PhD doctorates. The libraries are so resourceful. We can elect our own professors. We always study the updated syllabus.
Not everyone are benefited with placements in my department as my course has little scope within India. However we have Campus interview and we will be provided training to get selected for the interview.
I studied four year course for Genetical engineering. Overall the course fees is about ten laksh approximately. I personally feel that the fees is a bit high for the value of study. Because there are no genetic labs in India.
The overall campus life is good. The college conducts many events and cultural programmes for students. Two of which is Arush and milan which will be conducted each and every year in which the all the celebrities will come for the event.
This is a nice college to study and there is a lot of freedom within the campus and especially in the dress code. So if you want to enjoy your campus life you can definitely choose this college. I personally enjoyed the college life. We get to have lot of friends from various part of the countries.
The institute was big and beautiful overall all facilities has been provided. Library are there classroom are big and having sufficient sitting capacity. As I live approx 1 year in hostel the facilities like proper food and many other things which is good.
All faculty members are supportive to students and friendly nature. Course curriculum is relevant and we are regularly asked for reviews. The passing is easy. We are given cgo which is based on comparative marking. Competition is although high due to good students.
Placement is good in my course in comparison to other.the package starts from 5 lacs annually and goes to 15 lacs annually which is good opportunity. First college support in the time of placement and day by day placement cell improve there connection.
The college is value for money.
Campus Life is really good.
Nothing
for the college and its facilities, it has the best campus in Chennai which is huge. It has majestic looking buildings and really good infrastructure. The labs are awesome and right now they built a new Mac lab which apparently cost them about 3-4 crores. It also has a very big and really good looking library where we can borrow books, study for exams, and even chill out in-between our classes.
The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The semester exams are not too difficult to pass. You need to attend classes regularly and keep track of all the assignments and projects to score well in semester exams.
The placements of my college SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai in btech department was good . The top recruiters were Aditya Birla Group, Air Asian, Apollo Tires, HUL, Honda, Hyundai, Infosys, Informatica and more.
The infrastructure at my college is one of its strongest points. The new science and technology center is particularly impressive, with advanced labs and equipment. The student housing is also excellent, providing a comfortable and convenient living experience
Studying at my college has been a transformative academic experience. The curriculum is challenging and thought-provoking, and the professors are passionate about their subjects. The workload is heavy, but manageable with proper planning. The academic support services are also excellent
The placement services at our college are outstanding. The comprehensive training programs and regular feedback sessions were crucial in my preparation. I was able to secure a job with a high-profile company, thanks to their guidance
Exceptional value for money. I transferred here because of lower costs and better support systems. Best decision I’ve made for my education.
Being involved in clubs and organizations has been the highlight of my college life. It's a great way to develop skills, network, and find your community
Our college infrastructure is designed to foster collaboration and innovation. The study lounges are comfortable and conducive to group work. The library's digital resources are vast, and the IT support ensures we can always access the technology we need
My college offers a demanding academic environment that has significantly improved my critical thinking and analytical skills. The professors are highly qualified and supportive. Although the workload can be overwhelming at times, the comprehensive curriculum ensures a well-rounded education
The placement team at our college is highly efficient, offering a wide range of resources to help students succeed. From career fairs to guest lectures by industry leaders, every initiative is geared towards enhancing our employability
I love the green spaces on campus. They're perfect for studying, relaxing, or hanging out with friends. The university really invests in maintaining a beautiful environment
One of the best campuses in India. It is equipped with modern labs and good enough PCs for everyone. No shortage of any resources. There are separate buildings for each and every department, which is a really good thing as we can network easily between and across departments.
Good labs, teaching in classroom is also engaging, but the AICTE and UGC must work on renovating few courses for modern day engineering studies. The overall focus on practical learning helps students in their career.
One of the best things about SRM is you get placed. At least in my batch, from CSE, everyone got placed. There are a lot of variety of companies that come to SRM to hire across various industries. SRM used a 3rd party application to manage students' job applications called superset, and even till date, I receive some emails from superset for some job opportunities.
It is really expensive. The fee is the only issue with SRM. At my time, the fee was huge (approx 3 lakh per annum, apart from hostel) Right now, even if you get a rank below 5000, the fee is still high, only if you are in top 100 rank holders, your fee will be discounted, which is insane. It is average in terms of value for money.
Best of part of my life was college and campus life. So many events and fests happening. SRM knows how to party, SRM knows how to keep its students entertained. I remember, during my time, Salim-Sullaiman, Benny Dayal, John Abraham, Sonu sood, etc have come to campuses either to perform or to shoot some movie scenes. The campus is safe.
We have the best in class infrastructure the campus is very clean there is no such problem it feels like home all the basic facility is available here the canteen is also very hygienic there is no wifi in the campus. Campus is neat and clean.
All the teachers are very helpful and supportive here. They are all well-experienced and knowledgeable. Exams are conducted on our college campus. We can easily pass exams. The course curriculum is good and gives industrial knowledge. Industry visits are also organized regularly here.
The package starts from 4-5 lakh and upto 13-15 lakhs. there are many mncs that comes to the campus for placements. Deloitte and many more. most companies come here for finance and then marketing and hr. So if you're planning for finance this is your college.
SRM University, Chennai is equipped with all necessary facilities. All labs are equipped with new instruments. Classroom have good quality of furniture and lecture are delivered by smart board. Hostel facility is also good.
I am pursuing btech in computer science and engineering. Quality of teaching is not so good because teacher explain all in English language only no words in hindi is used by them. Attendance is mandatory for all students.
Placement cell is present in SRM Chennai. Internship opportunities are also provided by them in 2nd year. Student intake is too much due to which ROI is decreased. Fees is also high. Average package last year was 8.5lakh per annum.
