The college infrastructure and environment is pretty good. And there are good facilities as well. Parking areas has wife space along with the security. There are many departments as per different specialization.

As being a Fresher pursuing MCA till now I found the faculties and the academic worth it. They provide us the different industry ready training like in technical, full stack and data program and other soft communication skills too.

Placements are good here as per the department like in engeneering department the package range till 11 to 12LPA and science goes till 6 to 7 LPA. The highest package went till 1CR for engeneering as per the knowledge.

The college infrastructure is pretty nice with ample of space for students. There are a lot of classrooms to accommodate the students. The new buildings also have AC facilities throughout the day. There are a lot of hostels as well to accommodate students

The syllabus is pretty good and the faculty are decent but can do better. The curriculum is well updated with current requirements and the necessary tools are provided as well. The only thing which they can improve is to bring facilities with more core knowledge about subjects.

Placements are pretty decent as well but the only problem is that there is a lot of competition which makes it difficult to get placements in marquee companies as well as super dream. Other than that the placements are all right

SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai has one of the most impressive campuses I've seen among private engineering colleges in India. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and projectors, and the laboratories have modern equipment that is regularly maintained. The library has a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources — you can easily spend hours there. The Wi-Fi connectivity across campus is decent, though it can get slow during peak hours in the hostels. The sports facilities including the cricket ground, basketball courts, and gym are well-maintained and accessible to students. Hostel rooms are reasonably clean, and the food in the mess is hygienic, with multiple canteen options available inside campus for variety.

I pursued my B.Tech in Computer Science at SRM Chennai and the academic experience was quite solid overall. The faculty includes a good mix of experienced professors and industry professionals who bring real-world perspective into the classroom. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and cloud computing alongside core subjects. There are plenty of opportunities to work on projects, publish papers, and participate in hackathons. The internal assessment system is transparent and fair. The only thing I'd say is that students need to be self-driven — the college provides the platform, but you have to make the most of it yourself.

Placements at SRM Chennai are genuinely good, especially for Computer Science and IT branches. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and several mid-sized startups visit campus every year. The placement cell is active and conducts regular mock interviews, aptitude training, and resume workshops from the third year itself. In our batch, around 80–85% of eligible students were placed, with the highest salary package going above 40 LPA for a CSE student placed at a product-based company. Average salary for our branch was around 5–7 LPA. The process was smooth and well-organized. Students from core branches like Mechanical and Civil may find fewer on-campus opportunities, so they need to be more proactive

The annual tuition fee at SRM Chennai is on the higher side — around ₹2.5 to ₹3 lakhs per year depending on the course, and hostel adds another ₹1–1.5 lakhs. Considering the infrastructure, faculty quality, placement support, and the overall exposure you get, I would say it is reasonably worth it — especially if you are in a high-demand branch like CSE or ECE. The college has strong industry connections and a well-established brand name that does help during job applications.

Campus Life is very good as people come from various culture with different beliefs. We learn much about how to stay alone with new people.

The annexure Campus is very Beautiful and it rarely hot there which will be a surprise because of people thinking that chennai is hot. The Main campus is also being renovated one by one and many Buildings are made for research.

Some professor will be very open to handing or letting you work on a faculty project so you get a hands on experience with your stream but you can work for different branches too , overall scoring marks is easy but still need preparation.

Overall the placement rate is good , if you put alot of efforts in your skill and maintain adequate CGPA you can sit for any company. SRM gets all the companies their is and it has alot of opportunities if you become the right person for them

yes personally i like the infrastructure of SRM university, it has multiple labs for engineering, management, science and research programs too. campus provided with hostels, libraries, restaurants make it more comfortable. one of the strongest aspects of SRM is its large, modern, and designed infrastructure.

As an MBA Business Analytics student at SRMIST, i feel that academics could be stronger. university organizes many events, cultural programs, management fest, workshops, and activities throughout the semester . while these events are enjoyable and help us to develop communication and networking skills, they sometimes affects regular classes.

based on the feedback i received from seniors in the MBA BUSINESS ANALYTICS program, placements were not strong as i expected. while the university brings companies for placements for other domains but for business analytics it is really poor. very few companies offering business analyst role

however, considering the fees for the MBA Business Analytics program, i felt the academic experience and placement opportunities could be stronger. i gave average ratings for value for money

The campus is always happening, with cultural events, fests, hackathon, competitions, club activities, workshops, and celebrations will happen throughout the year. only thing i really like is diversity of peoples. there are also plenty of places to relax. overall campus life is fun and vibrant.

The library is amazing, with 3 floors of many varieties of books. There is air conditioning as well making it comfortable in the humid weather. The B. Tech courses have better classrooms and arts and science departments have old classrooms and no AC.

The professors were narrow-minded and dismissed mental health of the students. They were biased towards certain students and targeted others. The quality of education and resource provision can be improved significantly

There are placement opportunities. Only a handful get good opportunities while most people are stuck with mediocre ones. The promise of placements and infrastructure is what most people signed up for, so improvements are needed in that area.

Course fees are cheaper but adequate facilities are not provided. the classrooms get stuffy and uncomfortable to sit in. the hostels are very expensive with facilities but they are too strict with allowing people to go outside and in timings.

there are good eateries. the library is commendable. many events take place giving students opportunities to socialize and express themselves. there are many students from different backgrounds and there are opportunities to connect with them.

The college is okay. more than education, it's known for the campus life.

Good college infrastructure, my college had all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. The classrooms had centralised AC with Smart port for teaching. The Wi-Fi were maintained properly everywhere..

I was studying computer science with specialisation in cloud computing. The quality of teaching is fine. We had proper assignments and mock test and surprise test. The teachers are very approachable throughout the day and specially just before the exam.

My college guaranteed maximum placement and gave placements to every student. The companies coming to our college was in every year. Be it mass or the top mark companies more than 85 % students were placed

My course costed about two lakhs per year. I feel I did not get my money’s worth because I was a Covid batch to most critical years of my college went in Covid due to which I did not get a chance to go to the classroom and study in a live in environment..

My college campus all the best. All the activities were organised in my college the support, staff and teachers are very approachable during the whole function.

The quality of placements in our college is average but it also assure that all the students are being placed. But on the the other hand the placement is 66% in 2025. The average salary offered was 8-10lpa

As compared to the other colleges our degree is value for money and it also gives the output and the experience of studying and exploring the field I feel getting My money worth because I know I will be placed somewhere

The campus life in our college is not that much good not that much bad but yeah comparatively we enjoy a lot new activities new adventure and new enthusiasm on the students that make our campus life an average but good

College infrastructure is outstanding with hi-tech buildings and research centers equipped with centralised aur conditioners and smart boards. Every classroom has comfortable chairs and desk for effective learning.

Academics in this college is very good. Regular assignments, project based learning and projects are given to students for better understanding of the topics. Regular class tests are held to test the topics they learned.

Placements is not upto the mark in this college as compared to its fees. This is because of the crowd in the college. Average placements is too low and highest package is dropping year by year. Better placement is required

The fees for certain courses in this college is very high. Whereas the return of investment is too low. My course costed me 4.75 lakhs per year excluding hostel and mess fees. I think my money is not getting worth.

The campus is of 250+ acres. The campus has lots of lush plants and trees spread across the campus. The college has a huge swimming pool, basketball courts, gym, a cricket stadium, football ground and other sports also.
