Dont judge a book by its cover, think its meant for Srm. Once u make ur way inside Tech Park(all CSE and ECE student block) u notice their classes are sub par to that of a sick school. Mechatronics and Bio-Tech have nice classes though. No Air condition classes once u go 2nd year. A private univ collecting hefty fees could have done better
Your on your own Kid , thats all i can say. It all depends on what u do in campus with those 4 years oaosinainicabnuaoinuabnjsbcoanuocbiaoncabioansvjbisjonanvjnaipvbinvioanv nvjdamjndkvdnvdvidnvjkd vkn
Quality placement is on par with what u can expect from any private college. Highest package went for 40 Lakh but not all tom dick and harry are worthy . It totally depends on your skills u gain.AHAHh
Totally worthless piece of junk rat
U will have fun is all
do not join srm unless u burn cash as a hobby
This college is having one of the largest campuses in India. Most of the facilities are available here. The labs are well equipped .Also the library is well maintained and covering almost all the books.Overall the campus is quite clean and hygienic. But there is room for improvement in WiFi and its speed.
Most of the faculties are PhD holders and are having a good sense of knowledge in their respective fields. They are quite helpful and supportive. But I feel the curriculum is not upto the mark and this is the problem in almost all the colleges in India
Placements are one the USPs of this college with a record breaking performance every year. The placement percentage is around 97% and the highest package of this year was 41Lakhs given by Microsoft. Also the college provides good placement trainings.
Campus life is quite good providing students with lot of opportunities.
The college campus is really beautiful with more than 50 plus different types of trees and plants here..The mechanical building is newly constructed and is really beautiful. In the entire college hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at its best! The mechanical labs are quite huge with all the necessary machinery and also technicians to help students with the machinery! All precautions are taken here.
I am studying mechanical engineering here and let me tell you The teaching here is one of the best and of top quality. The teachers are highly dedicated and lectures are conducted regularly. Not even a single lecture is cancelled and attendance is also full in every lecture. The curriculum is up-to-date ,no old syllabus is followed only the latest technology and machinery is taught here. The study indeed makes one perfectly job-ready!
The placement of SRM is best in South India! Almost each and every one is placed here and company itself recruited most of the students here. The companies offer handsome salaries and is one of the prime reasons which attracts students here.Average placement is s 10-12 lakhs here and many get 22 lakh- 25 lakh per annum placement as well. The training and placement cell here is really supportive of the students.
The fees of the college are 12-13 lakh for four years of BTech .It is a bit high as compared to other colleges as SRM is a autonomous college. Also The money is totally worth it seeing the quality of education and the placements!
The campus life is extra-ordinary!The college excels in sports, culture, technical and all sorts of events. The annual sports event "Colosseum" is huge and the prize money goes upto 10,000- 15,000 for each game.Sports is promoted a lot in the college. There all football,basketball,cricket,kho-kho,kabadii,etc teams here.
Library and useless stuff is just a show-off a couple of days and then it's bang below average. I'm not sure about the infrastructure of colleges which come under the same price bracket either, so review is very subjective to how I spent my time in the college.
It is flexible enough for you to have the freedom to involve yourself in stuff. While, teachers and curriculum looks really impressive on paper. This being a very subjective review on how I wanted to progress.
Well I was surprised by this too. But what do I know about placements in my sophomore year anyway? If you're good enough and keeping putting the work in, you'd really be amazed to see the opportunities you can have or maybe I'm just putting this high just to raise the average.
Has a very good library, consists of every sort of book needed. Provides the largest auditorium equipped withh modern technologies. Campus has many cafeterias all over the campus. Java is the main cafeteria there.
This is an area where SRM lacks strongly. I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in CSE with specialization in IT, and the mode of teaching is very poor. The course is seldom updated and we are given no industry knowledge. Also, most of the teachers are not well versed with their own subjects and this is a complain we get to hear from almost everyone.
Placements in SRM is really outstanding. Average salary offered is around 6 lpa whereas highest salary may reach as high as 41 lpa. The college provides full support during placements bringing about external help as well. All in all, almost everyone bags a job or two.
I paid 2.5 Lakhs per annum for this course. I am little satisfied.
Campus life in SRM is excellent. With such a big campus and sports fields present you can actually have a wonderful time. Every student gets everything he/she needs. Not to forget the lush greeneries that it offers and also different fests that it conducts. (Aarush and Milan being the two most celebrated ones which notes presence of students from other states as well)
I personally had a great experience till now, everybody has different experience to share.
The college provides all the facilities needed by the students. Campus has a very big library and is equipped with books on every topic and genres. It has a Wifi enabled campus. All the buildings are well maintained. Hostel facility is provided for every student.
I am Currently pursuing B.tech in CSE with Specialization in Information Technology. The quality of teaching is not upto the mark as i thought off. The curriculum is bit old and follows some older pattern. Some of the subjects are taught in an old fashioned way. But the truth is they make you job ready.
The quality of placement is very good as compared to other colleges. SRM holds a 100% placement record. The average placement went 5.5 lakhs this year with highest ctc of 41 lakhs. There are more number of on-campus placement as compared to off-campus placement.
I paid 3.5 lac for the course per year, but honestly i didn't find my money being properly utilized during my course years.
Excellent infrastructured classrooms , great library facility with online portal, in campus shops are also there , so many well maintained playground with sports and all the labs are highly equiped with all imported materials
Washington method of syllabus and it is autonomous. The faculty are well trained . They guide us in every possible aspect to reach out heights in future . Experience wise everyone who handles us will have atleast five years of experience.
Srm is famous for it's placement facility they assure 80 percent placement opportunity. They provide semester abroad programs for students which is part for extra credits. They have special placement training programs with excellent faculty which is mandatory to all students.
The college fee is really high compared to other colleges
It's amazing college with excellent faculty in every field they are friendly and it is fun as well as helpful for developing your skills
Totally it's amazing to be a part of srm
SRM institute of science and technology stand tall when it comes to is equipped with almost all necessary things such asis equipped with almost all necessary things such as smart classrooms model labs excellent Wi-Fi networks etc.the library in SRM is also excellent with its use set of books to prepare from, ranging from engineering books to novels, sections and and also so books for different competitive exams. Also,, it brings us gymnasium for boys and girls hostel is well clean and hygienic .
This is an area where SRM lacks strongly.I am currently pursuing my BTech in biotechnology, and the mode of teaching is very poor.the course is seldom updated and we are given no industry knowledge. .Also, most of the teachers are not well versed with their own subject and this is a complaint we get to hear from almost everyone.
placement actually very good in SRM, however for non coding departments such as ours, it is very difficult to bag a decent job. although the highest salary goes up to 30 lacs package with a decent average in branches like CSE, IT, ECE, EIE,etc . Branches such as are smelly get jobs of around 2.5 to 3.5 lacs package with the highest touching 4.5 lacs.
SRM can never be regarded as a value for money institute specially for students who wish to pursue higher studies. the soul result being the knowledge that accuire in these four years is very limited (unless if you have worked on yourself by doing external courses)
campus life in SRM is excellent. which such a big campus and sports fields present you can actually have a wonderful time. not to forget the lush greenery that it offers and also different fests that it conducts. (Aarush and milan being the two most celebrated once which notes presence of students from other states as well)
SRM, all in all, is a great place to be in in if you are just looking for a degree or an average job.Incase, you are ambitious or what to pursue higher studies, sorry this isn't the best bet.Having said all, it also conducts several workshops and conferences .
SRM is a wonderful college in terms of the infrastructures that it provides. Starting from smart classrooms, to state of the art laboratories, a huge library with all sort of books from different genres and departments including competitive books as well. It also provides good hostel service with hygienic food.
Academics in SRM is pretty average. It follows a very outdated curriculum which is seldom revised. We aren't provided education to make us job ready and most of the facilities are least interested to teach. However, once or twice you may find great professors. In general, when it comes to academics, SRM doesn't fare that well.
Placements in SRM is really outstanding. Average salary offered is around 4.5 lpa whereas highest salary may reach as high as 30 lpa. The college provides full support during placements bringing about external help as well. All in all, almost everyone bags a job or two.
When it comes to ROI, SRM fares well. With an yearly fee of 2.15 lakhs that amounts to around 9 lakhs after 4 years you really enjoy a pleasant college life, grow with your peers and also bag decent placement(s). Comparing to the scenarios elsewhere, I feel, the investment is worth it.
Campus life in SRM is really worth it. Huge campus spreaded over an area of 250 acres, it encompasses 2 cricket/football fields, basketball courts, lawn tennis courts etc. Moreover, the place is just awesome. You can enjoy by just taking a stroll alone or with your friends.
All in all, you can have a very nice time here in SRM, if you also work for yourself. Nice campus life, awesome fests and lastly decent placements with a little effort from your end.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (KTR) stands tall when it comes to infrastructure. It is equipped with almost all necessary things such as smart classrooms, modern labs, excellent WiFi network, etc. The library in SRM is also excellent with its huge set of books to prepare from, ranging from engineering books to novels, fictions and also books for different competitive exams. Also, it brings us gymnasiums for boys and girls separately. The hostel is well cleaned and mess food is hygienic

Hello,
If I were choosing between these colleges, I would generally prefer MIT Manipal, LNMIIT, SRM KTR, and JIIT before SOA.
That doesn't mean SOA is a bad college. In fact, it's a decent option with good infrastructure and placements, especially for CSE-related branches. But when compared to MIT, LNMIIT,
Hi,
With 75–80 marks in AP EAMCET and 582/600 in IPE (around 97%) , you have a strong board score, which will help in the rank calculation.
Based on recent trends, you can roughly expect a rank somewhere in the range of 8,000–15,000 , though normalization and your specific shift
