The infrastructure is world-class. Their are 15 storey buildings that touch the sky. The university is well equipped with laboratories. The machines for mechanical and aerospace branch are in terms with the demand of the industry. The faculty has a south Indian Base. The library is well eqquiped with books for all the branches. There are 2 big playgrounds and one indoor ground. The campus is well connected with buses. You can have a virtual tour of SRM Institute of Science and technology .
I am a student of mechanical engineering. The quality of teaching is par with other private engineering colleges. The college finishes the syllabus on time and regular exams are conducted. Yes the cirriculum is updated and it matches with the demand of industry.
For official data you can visit the official website of srmist. The placements are good. Almost all reputed companies visit and recruit from srm. There is an entire cell which trains student for this speicific purpose.
The college allocates fees on tier per se basis. Top 15k rank holders in srmjrr will have to pay 2.5 lakh per annum. However as ones rank increases so will be the fees. The second tier fees is 3.5 lakh per annum.
Campus Life is the best thing about SRM. There are conferences, webinars, competitions being held all round year. The two college fest AARUSH and MILAN are famous throughout the country and attracts huge crowd. The Directorate of Student affairs takes care of students affairs.
Good infrastructure and cleanliness, wifi speed and connectivity is good in classes, sports facilities are poor the food is hygienic inside the campus.good transport facilities are also available that too cheap.
I am studying mechanical engineering, the quality of teaching is not very good, some professors are not focused on the technicality and clarity of the subject rather they focus on completing their course.
The quality of placement is good enough.the maximum packages has varied by 45-50 lakhs for mechanical engineering students, and also good placements history for other branches too. Also some of the renowned companies come too.
It's not the value for money due to certain reasons as mentioned earlier.as the quality of teaching was not very up to the point rather completion of the course is more important than having a detailed knowledge in the field.
Campus life is pretty nice, clean environment and nature.
Overall experience is good.
Infrastructure for 1st year is really good. Libraries and classes are well maintained and they also have effective maintenance team to look after it. Library is a hub of knowledge and is really huge. Food hygiene is a bit compromised.
Because i could make into IIT and NLU. The faculty is passionate and hard working. They know the use of resources to teach students. I don't think that any college has updated their curriculum. You have to manage your time everywhere.
The quality placements are from MNUs and also some mass recruitment. Almost every student is placed. For exceptionally brilliant students some time off campus placement is preferred. Yes college has been supportive so far.

SRM has a well defined layout in terms of infrastructure. The campus is spread over a large area, with the provision of all the basic facilities. There are huge grounds and indoor courts for sports; gymnasium is made for the students of the college. The library is technically advanced and has a good collection of books. The classrooms are well-maintained with smart boards installed, and the washrooms are clean. Canteen has diverse varieties of food which are hygienic and affordable.
CSE has proven to be a good course for me as it aligns with my interests and liking for computers and programming. The course is well updated, and even the curricula followed in the college fall in line with the skills required in the job sector. The course has a lot of research and practicality which definitely makes one job-ready. The teachers are cooperative and experienced, and they mentor each student at each and every point.
Approximately, 70 % of the students get hired in the recruitment drive held by the college. The placement drive is held in the most efficient manner. The average package is around 5 lpa which is a good kick start for any student in their respective fields. The college has a placement cell which is responsible for inviting firms to the college and guiding the fellow mates in getting placed, hence making the college supportive. The placements must be inclusive of all the courses, which is a demerit.
The annual tuition fee structure was a bit on the expensive side, as my yearly fee was around 3 lacs p/a which might not be affordable for many students. But, the quality of services and education, with all the basic amenities make SRM worthy of the investment. Personally, SRM is making my each penny count.
Though the college is isolated from the main part of the city, but it is glorious from the inside. There are sports activities in the college and many cultural societies like dance and music societies. Moreover, there are various clubs which keep on participating in educational competitions. Various seminars are held and several fests are conducted throughout the year making the college life happening. There's a medical room to handle any emergency, as and when it arises!
I was an outsider, and accommodation expenses just added to my expenditure, but the amazing college life and a high probability of getting on campus jobs make SRM as one of the best options among other private universities all over the country.
Magnificent and spacious buildings fully air conditioned, except the main campus area for core branches .The AC there sometimes work like a cooler and the buildings look a little dated .overall the college looks great including the TP ganeshan auditorium (Asia's second largest)
Language problem with the teachers but the pdf provided is enough to clear the exams. The curriculum is enough to pass but not enough to increase your worth.practical subjects like thermal lab, machine lab are not very descriptive .U are supposed to be a master of a machine in a single lab session.
Mostly IT companies dig in there like infosys,Google(sometimes) etc. A average performing candidate may get around 35000-40000 salary per month and there are some cream students who get 1lac + rest depends on capabilities of individuals.
250000 for rank below 10000 ,350000 for rank above 10000, i don't think u can repay it back if are a medeoker and the hostel fees is like paying a huge amount for bed in a hospital it may vary around (100000-260000)
The college is full of trees , free buses , mess food is average , java green (group of food vendors )lake near college, subway and different restaurants .
SRM is one of the premier institutions in the country . The classrooms are well maintained with smart boards installed , therefore prioritizing practical application of the theory. The food is hygienic and affordable. The sports facilities are well maintained and made available to all the students. The library has an exhaustive collection of diverse books. The campus has clean working spaces and the restrooms are spic and span.
I am pursuing Bachelors in CSE as I am very much interested in computers and programming. The teachers are experienced and qualified with most of them being PhD holders in their respective fields. My curriculum does not include the recent advancements and hence it is not updated. But, CS has a lot of scope and the curriculum surely makes a student job ready. The internal processes are smooth and the attendance is strictly followed.
The placements have been very good in the recent years. Around 75 percent of the students have been placed in good and reputed companies . The highest package is 40 lakhs per annum. The process of the placement is also very smooth .The college has a placement cell which takes the initiative to call big companies in the campus and ensures that maximum students are placed from the college, hence making the college supportive. The average salary offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum.
The course cost is approximately 3 lakhs p.a. which may not be affordable for every student . But, if it is feasible for any student, then I would recommend him/her to join the college as it provides good education and decent placements. The student should also try to grab the scholarships provided by the college so as to get some financial benefit.
Though the college has a very good infrastructure but it is situated at a place where there are very few restaurants and cafes, leaving very less options for the students to hang out with friends after classes. The worst feature is that there is predefined dresscode which needs to be followed in the college . The best feature is that the college has both cultural and educational societies that cover the interests of all the students . There's a medical room to handle the emergencies.
SRM is worth a shot for a job oriented person.
My college is one of the top universities of India. It has an amazing infrastructure and great facilities. Our library is big and air conditioned. The sports centres are good and well maintained. The food is good enough as compared to other colleges.
I'm studying B.tech in civil engineering as it is my passion. The curriculum includes all the recent developments and is very dynamic. The faculty is very experienced and we also have foreign faculty. Yes, it makes me job ready.
The quality of placements as of now is good. Nearly 80% of students get placed. The highest package is said to be 39LPA as of 2020. Over 610 companies have visited our college and the average salary offered per annum is 4 lac.
The infrastructure of the campus is the most positive aspect of the college. It has huge campus with most the facilities available which includes proper and working laboratories for all the branches , good quality of mess food , clean and green environment and a campus with all necessary facilities . It has sports ground for basketball, volley ball and many more things .
I am studying BCA in this institution . Teachers can teach each and everything and clear all the doubts Any time any place . Yes the curriculum is updated and it's include all the recent developments in the field.
In case of placement our college is outstanding, because SRM has 100% placements records . There are very good companies to give high paying job offers . The average package was something around 7-8 lpa and the College is too supportive for placement activities.
The facilities are good when counted but the quality of facility falls short of the payment they take. The WiFi facility is poor with time being limited for its usage. All sports are covered but their place is often used for other purposes like football ground for cultural activities. Living spaces are clean although the mess quality is poor. Libraries' number of books which can be issued is very limites. The hostel can be more accomodative
Academics quality is highly affected by the fact that the proportion of management quota is 40-50%. The professor are okay, not much great. The problem is that there are 20-25 sections making its management difficult. CS students although get good exposure because of its structured curriculum but it does not make one job-ready. Very less help during project submission.
Approximately 500 companies visit the campus on an average which is quite a good number. But this stat does not reflect towards placement stats. Average placement is around 4 Lacs, highest being 32 lacs. The placement process is not transparent. Students are forced to sit even if not interested.
The course cost is approximately 2.5 Lacs per year(tuition)+99500(for lowest hostel rooms, highest being 2,10,000) and considering the placement stats, it takes a good amount of time to recover the invested amount. Other courses are far worse than BTECH. The student should try to grab scholarship which might give financial benefit.
Worst features are the qualities of the facilities. Food and water are not good. There are frequent issues. There is a predefined dress code(like school). Good features are the clubs and fest's. They are good and famous. Auditorium sitting capacity is good.
Qualities should be according to money invested.
Hello,
Although it is quite unlikely to make 2 lakhs per month as a physiotherapist from SRM College of Physiotherapy, especially immediately after graduation, it is not impossible with experience, specialisation, and possibly private practice. The average monthly salary for recent grades is between 15,000 and 25,000 . Although earning
