Our college Srm Ktr have a very modern well maintained campus with well maintained facilities like proper WiFi connection, clean library, good bulidings, sports complex and other greenary which in present inside the campus only.
The academics are very nice , the faculties here are very experienced and very well behaved. Their support towards the students we all can observe by their behaviour and they teach us very well. The syllabus and curriculum is also up to date
Placement is the point where my college is behind other colleges but as compared to many private colleges like vit , manipal and amity type colleges it is better than those colleges and will definitely improve in future.
the quality of education they're providing us and the facilities they provide us it is worth it. The modern infrastructure and the clean and huge campus justifies it's fees and other stuffs so it is value for money.
One of the best campus life because of the widely spread campus and the crowd is such well behaved and friendly you will make very good freinds here. Potheri TRS are the hangout spots with your friends and everything is provided by the institution.
no
very neat and aesthetic campus. The buildings are very pretty and consist of all the features that we need. Tech Park and University building are the face of this college which is very well maintained.
Curriculum and syllabus is according to latest syllabus provided by the authorities and is very well taught by the professors and faculties . I am doing Btech in CSE from this college which is best now a days.
Placements are not very nice, i will say its poor because from website and in real its very different. According to the seniors the placement records are going down because of a large crowd. They need to fix it as soon as possible.
Its not totally worth it because of the amount we / our parents are investing in our course fees and hostel fees plus our daily expenses including pocket money is not worth the return we expect from the college.
The campus life is full of fun and friends. The hostel life is same as you have seen in movies and other platforms. The campus seems like a picnic spot because it is very beautiful . The fest of this college are top notch.
nothing much
Very beautiful , very pretty college in terms of infrastructure which i appriciate the most about my college. Campus is very neat and clean and very well developed which makes it even more attractive. The buildings are huge and nice.
the academics are very nice , the syllabus is very easy and detailed. The quality of teaching is very effective and the teachers are very friendly. There are smart classrooms provided to us for better understanding.
The placement record is good and it is more 90% as of now, the highest package is around 1.5cr and average package is 8-9 lakhs which is very nice for a private college and one of the best private college in terms of placements.
If you are average in studies and expecting a average placement around 6-8 lakhs the return of investment is not that good as you spend around 26-30 lakhs for your fees and living cost and the roi is not justified in that case.
The campus life is one of the best life you will ever live because you will make good friends here who will be with you forever. Airport and Railway station are closer to college and the availaibility of resources is also very nice.
NOTHING
Very pretty infrastructure and beautiful campus spread over a large area. the buildings are tall and the auditorium is one of the biggest in india among top engineering colleges and the campus is very neat and clean.
The academics are pretty well and well managed syllabus also. Exams are very very easy to pass and score. its easy here to good cgpa as the split is 60% for internals and 40% for end sem exams. Quality of teaching is very nice , teachers are supportive.
The placements are average in this college , the average package offered is around 6-7 lakhs per annum and the highest touches around 90 lakhs per annum. If you work hard you will get placed in a good company.
I would say its quite decent because the facilities and services we are getting from the college justifies its price very well. My course cost 475000 per year and hostel cost me around 130000 and it is worth it.
The campus provides you everything from sports ground to auditorium to good sorroundings. The crowd is very nice and consist of both south indians and north indians which teaches us different traditions and the best thing is fest organized by college.
no
One of the best and non fragile infrastructure , my elder sister was also a student from this college 19 batch , she came and visit and noticed the buildings and the layout is still very well maintained. The library is one of the best , its huge and consist of three floors.
The syllabus taught here in this college is pretty easy and understandable , the teachers are friendly and supportive. The members of staff is also very great and supportive. The internals are pretty hard to score thats the con.
The placement record here in srm after the lockdown and covid pandemic fell so bad. Its now average and the average package is around 5-6 lakhs and for that too you have to work very hard. The highest package is around 1 cr.
I am currently paying 425000 rs for year for my course and 150000 for my hostel. The fees is quite high but yet affordable if you can afford. According to the facilities that i am getting i am almost satisfied of my investment.
The campus life is so great and you will enjoy in the campus because of the fests hosted by AARUSH and MILAN fest . The college fest and events will make you entertained and enjoy your college life and campus life.
very beautiful campus and infrastructure. The main point of the attraction of this college is its infrastructure and specially the new vendhar square that looks so aesthetic and old style monument give vibes like CP of delhi.
I am pursuing BTech CSE w/s Software Engg. which is one of the best branch of CINTEL department. The teachers and their teaching is exceptional and i love the way they teach . The classrooms are modern and smart classrooms.
Placement of this college is very good according to the provided numbers and they actually are good as of i have heard from seniors and other faculty members. the average package is around 7-8lakhs and highest is around 1.2 cr.
The infrastructure , campus , facility , requirements the college provides to each and every student is totally worth it and the fees i pay for my course and hostel and my daily expenses is justified. The ROI is good.
One of the biggest campus and one of the biggest and top engineering college of india , very clean and beautiful campus. Crowd is very nice and polite. The staff and security is also top notch and it feels like home.
nothing
very nice and strong college infrastructure that is what you expect from srm and it is like that. The infrastructure justifies the tag of srm as its so unique and attractive which is the image of this college which is very nice.
the academics are poor as the syllabus is not that competitive and the exam is not that hard or exam is not even medium level which is a problem for me maybe its not a problem for any other students because it makes it hard to judge yourself acc to you marks scored in exams.
placements are pretty average as compared to other private colleges but the main campus its decent for placements because many companies visit here , its almost guranteed you will get placed but the salary and package will be average.
as per the the placement and package we get and the fees what we are paying for 4 years is not justified. you just have to be too good in coding and other subjects to get a 10lpa+ package which depends on your skills.
the campus life is very nice , the friends you will make here will be your lifetime experience because the crowd, the place and the climate will make you fall in love with the campus and college. You will live your best life here.
CAMPUS LIFE LIKE SRM , YOU WILL NEVER FIND ANYWHERE
Great infrastructure with multiple high rise buildings. Good lab facilities. Wifi connection throughout the campus. Most of the classrooms are well air conditioned and spacious. Canteens and vending machine in all buildings for easy access.
Courses taught are well planned by industry experts and professors. The subjects have relevance in the current times and quite detailed for the undergraduate level. Builds basic foundation for pursuing higher education in the particular subject.
Most students prefer higher education since the subject is more research oriented. Students can opt to sit for placements if they wish. Different companies come to hire students for mostly managerial roles and others which may or may not be aligned with your subjects in the undergraduate level.
Good value for money.
Multiple fests and events are organised throughout the academic year for students. Affordable eating places with a variety of cuisines. Lots of greenery to chill out post classes.
Good, can do better about higher studies options coaching and rest I like it it’s good in teaching staff an facilities no ragging or any unusual activities, safe and secure and good rules and also good extracurricular activities
Really good staff who are always ready to help and guide us and are always available to solve our queries and doubts and subjects which r needed for the future reference’s everything is properly covered
Usually as the student intake count is getting increased and number of placements are decreasing, many would prefer a balanced and good opportunities for many people who r talented and r working very hard
I feel the fees is bit high as there r many talented students who deserve to study here but don’t have enough money to do so and just like how subjects r taught I feel even life values should be taught here
Good environment, safe comparatively to girls and a good balance between studies academics and also extracurricular activities and the college is also nature friendly and against ragging and other bad stuff
None
The infrastructure is serviceable, not very good, you can say one can work hard enough to get through cs and all other it related courses, but coming to core engg. I feel the infra is lacking, also keeping in mind the amount of students they take in every year and also the amount of money they ask for, there is definitely enough scope of improvement. Classrooms, the new ones are definitely at par, but the old ones are really bad, the ac sometimes malfunctions even in the new buildings, forget it in the old ones, the library ac is also crap, sport centres can definitely improve. Living spaces, the dorms, for men are way too congested, like a small room having 4 students, hinders privacy, there is no option of 2/1 sharing rooms, the size of rooms are almost the size of my house's washroom. The mess food is absolute garbage. Sometimes inedible too.
I am studying cs w/s software engg., honestly, the eduction, the teachers and the way they teach is not something I can ever brag, literally can't, they teach like 30% of the syllabus, more sort of say just read the highlights of the chapter, not all, but many, some teachers are ridiculousy biased towards South Indian students, as if they hate northies. The major flaw is every class has different teacher for the same subject, and the marking/evaluation scheme is not at par at all, take and example of student A and B both taking M2 course, student A's teacher is very strict and B's is not at all, A is academically very hard working, B doesn't study at all, at the end A gets A+ grade and B gets A+ grade too, despite A gained lot more knowledge and worked harder than B, still both of them scored same grade, so the cgpa in srm is not at all legit. Does the education provided make us job-ready ? I have yet to find out
Placements as far as I have heard, is not very good due to the humungous amount of students they recruit every year, takes the average really down. I think the highest packages is 65lpa, not sure though, avg is around 5-6lpa, placement process I have to yet find out.
My course costs 4.5lakh per year it's just the course fee, add up the hostel fees, mess fees, and other small things. it becomes almost 7lakh per year, definitely not worth, I am only here because of my poor performance in JEE and my dad had huge savings.
the campus is relatively small if you just consider the engg. areas, but due to the allowance of walking out of the campus anytime, doesn't effect the quality of life, you can literally go out of the campus and catch a train in nearby station (walkable) and visit Chennai. Students engage into cigg. and alcohol out of the campus, inside the campus idk what do they do except the eatery, the sports is almost nothing as much, it's like they have given a small playground for 10k students to play in.
