My college has decent infrastructure overall. The classrooms are well maintained, the campus is clean, and most of the essential facilities are available. The labs have the equipment needed for regular practicals, and while they may not be the most advanced, they are good enough for learning. The library has a decent collection of books and provides a quiet space to study. Wi-Fi works fine across the campus, and the sports facilities are satisfactory for basic activities. Overall, the college offers all the necessary resources for students, and the facilities are good enough for day-to-day academic needs.
The academics at my college are quite decent. The curriculum is well structured and covers all the important topics required for the course. Most of the faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, and they explain concepts clearly. While the teaching methods are mostly traditional, they are effective enough for understanding the subjects. Assignments, practicals, and internal assessments are conducted regularly, which helps keep students engaged. Overall, the academic experience is good and provides a solid foundation, especially if students put in consistent effort.
The placements at my college are decent. A fair number of students get placed every year and the college tries to support students through placement drives and opportunities. Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs with reasonable starting packages. While it may not be the highest in the country, the placement record is good enough for most students to begin their careers and gain valuable experience. Overall, the placement scenario is satisfactory and provides decent scope for getting a job after graduation.
The placement quality at my college is decent overall. A good number of students get placed every year, especially from the professional and technical courses. While the exact percentage varies from batch to batch, a fair portion of students do secure jobs through the campus drives. The highest package is usually offered to students from the more industry-focused courses, and it is quite good for a college of this level. The average package is decent too—enough to give students a comfortable start to their careers. The placement process was smooth and easy to follow, with regular updates and guidance. The college was supportive throughout, conducting training sessions, mock interviews, and pre-placement talks to help students prepare. Overall, the placements are satisfactory and provide a decent launchpad for students entering the workforce.
Campus life at my college is quite decent and enjoyable. There’s a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities, so students don’t feel too stressed all the time. The campus environment is friendly and supportive—people are generally helpful and there’s a nice sense of community. There are enough student clubs, cultural events, and activities throughout the year that make college life lively. Fest functions, sports meets, and other get-togethers help students relax and make friends. Hostel life is comfortable with basic amenities, and mess food is acceptable.
Overall, my experience at the college has been quite decent and satisfying. The environment is supportive, the faculty is approachable, and the campus feels safe. There is always room for improvement, but the college provides enough opportunities for students who are willing to make the most of them. With consistent effort, you can have a good academic and personal growth experience here.
the infrastructure and buildings of college is very imminent and nice. The mess building is huge and sufficient for the students to dine in properly. The college area is well developed and nature is such a thing that i would like to mention.
The academics depends on your skills and urge to study. Exams are pretty easy to pass. The marks split is 60 internal marks and 40 end sems which shows you internal marks matter the most to score good grade.
Placements are very good , my seniors and my cousins were from this college and they got placed in a decent company, they guided me the best way to get placed including skill development and other required skills.
I'm paying around 4 lakhs for my course fees and 2 lakhs for my living because i am a day scholar, the sorroundings and facility makes it nice and the investment i did for this college is worth it and nice.
the campus life in my first year was very nice and joyful. My friends and my seniors made it even better. i enjoyed my hostel life like how i wanted to enjoy so it was such a great experience. The campus is neat and clean.
nothing
The college infrastructure is good but due to a very high crowd it seems to be less. Due to too many students many new hostels are under construction which is good for the infrstructure of the college. The mess food is very nice and the variety of food served in the mess is also very good.
The syllabus and exams are very easy which in the perspective of student is very nice but for the skill development and personal skill test is not good. The exams are easy that makes you think you are good in academics but you cant judge yourself with those marks
As what i heard before joining this college from websites and others they say placements are very nice but when i joined and asked from seniors i came to know its not exactly what is mentioned and its not that good.
The course fees is overpriced, the hostel price is justified because of the food and living facilities. If you have scholarship its nice , that can help you financially and can make you to spend more on better hostels.
For me the campus life depends on the sports , there is one football ground that is mostly crowded but there are plenty of turfs near the college campus where you can play football and cricket with your friends and enjoy.
NO
the infrastructure of the new campus is very nice , there is one new building tech park 2 that is newly made which consist of escalators which makes less chaos and rush during the class hours and is provided with each and every possible facility.
Academics here are very nice , there are different clubs in srm which helps you to gain knowledge and give once in a life time experience for your studies and all. Exams and internal marks are also very scoring and easy.
Not that good placement , too many companies visit this college but many companies comes with very less package and there are very less companies which comes with 25-30lakhs+ package so you have to work & study hard.
Its value for money if you can afford around 20-25 lakhs fees for 4 years. For my course Software Engineering i pay 425000 per year which is less than Core subjects and other specialisation and hostel fees varies from 1.3 lakhs to 3 lakhs.
the campus life is extraodinary , you will never get bored if you are in srm campus. the hostels are nice but the in timing of hostel is 9pm which is not that good but we can say it is decent as compared with other colleges.
The campus is very beautiful and hospital is very nice inside the campus.
srm ktr campus feels like a lively mini city where thousands of students move around with energhy and purpose. the moment you enter throught the grand arch gate, the wide roads greenery and clean environment set a positive tone. the academic blocks are modern and well maintained
academics at srm ktr are designed to feel both structured and flexible giving students the space to grow while keeping them guided. each department has its own dedicated well equipped classrooms and specialized labs
placements are average at srm ktr from average package being 6.5-7lpa top package being 65lpa and placement rate generally high which is more than 90% with many recruiters visiting anually the average package can vary widely by branch and student performance
value for money is mixed some rank it positively when placements and infrastructure are taken together, but others say the high feels vs average mid range packages dont always balance out if you compare to some state or private universities
campus life at srm ktr is one of the most vibrant and lively experience a student can have. from early morning chai outside the hostels to late night group study sessions the capus feels alive almost 24/7.
4/5 in categories like placements infrastructure faculty campus life and value for money academics and faculty generally rated average, a few reviews give lower scores especially on value for money and faculty consistency.
as the college is very far from chennai , the sorrounding is not like a city but the campus consist of very good buildings and very developed buildings. the campus is seperated into two parts one is crc the old campus and one is the main campus.
Academics according to me in my first year was very easy , the subjects were those that we already studied earlier but in second year its quite hard to score until unless you study very hard and try to score good marks.
Placements of this college is very nice as of what i heard from the seniors. The highest package was around 1.2cr last year and the avearge package is around 7-8 lakhs that totally depends upon your skills.
The resources that college provide , the facilities that they provide justifies the value for money of my college . The campus is clean , the hostels are very good and developed , the labs, the ground and specially the auditorium is one of the biggest in india.
The campus life inside the campus and outside the campus is completely different thing , inside it is more safe than outside because of the security and rules inside the campus , crowd of this college is mixed .
nothing
Infrastructure of my college is top notch and i should say one of the best in india among the all engineering colleges which makes it even beautiful. The college campus is clean and spread in a good area which makes it better.
The teachers are very nice , the staff of the teachers are also very nice , overall the exams and internals are pretty easy based on the hardwork you put for those things , i am pursuing the best course that is btech cse w/s aiml that you will get with good rank.
placements of this college according to the website of college is very good but thats not the reality , its less than what is shows on the website and the average package is also not that good which i will say is bad.
until unless you have any scholarship provided by srm or you are very rich , the return of investment is not very nice. You pay around 4.75 lakhs fees for course and 1.8lakhs for hostel that is total 7 lakhs approx per year that is too much.
The campus is very beautiful and big. Its very clean and the crowd of the college is also very nice , it consist of both north indian and south indian crowd which is very nice. The sorrounding of the campus provides you every thing that you need in daily life.
no
my campus's infrastructure is really good and there are also building new buildings and hostels and developing campus. SRM campus is also quite big and have many kind of amenities provided by them for students. We has hospitals, shopping complex, cafes and many Fastfood chains and a big sports ground and many courts, etc. Classrooms are quite well maintained and have all equipments available in labs and sports. we have so many hostel which occupy most of the people and they are building. mess food is also ok ok.
I am doing Btech CSE with specialisation in AI&ML. I always wanted to learn coding and now is the future of ai that's why i chose this course. My teachers are well educated and carry great knowledge but sometime i face problem in class because of my teacher's accent and little bit of language barrier. Our curriculum is up to date with the industries and our field. We are persuade to do coding according to what market demands.
I don't know much about placement but as i know from my seniors that so many MNCs come for giving placement but there is one system of CGPA which divide students into different category of Packages and companies. so if you are serious about placement then you also have to pay attention for CGPA regardless of your skills.
I would say that it is little costly because of there infrastructure and other than college fees, the living expense is also quite high. So i you are getting avg 10lpa job then you have to work around 3 yr to recover the money.
you will experience a great campus life and make memories there and get a chance to meet people from different region of the country and will make great connections.
I you are seeing too much about money then you will experience that its an expensive college not because of its fees but because of cost of hostels and living outside. you will easily spend 3 lac per year easily just for stay and food.
good buildings with electricity supply tech park is the hub for cs students and the building has 4 lifts tech park 2 is the better version of tech park 1 and has very nice labs with appropriate equipment like up to date computers
teachers dont know what theyre teaching and for some reason have a bias against north indian students. Examinations are easy but you need to study a lot to get good internals. end sem exams are easy tho
you pay to get a job. you wont ever recover financially if you go for placements from this college. this college will lead you to financial ruin. youll go broke after a week of buying a4 sheets and printouts for projects
if there was an option below one star i wouldve selected that instead but since we cannot do that, the fees of this college for one year is close to 5lakhs and the hostel is 2lakhs minimum. by the end of your four years youll be in a debt of 30+lakhs and you wont get a job of even 1lpa so do the math yourself
potheri and trs will be your go to spots for certain reasons that youll find out soon enough. the campus life is plenty good since the crowd is nice. however the south indian crowd is something you should stay away from.
no
The lifts are bad and can be done better. The libraries and sports complexes are well maintained. The living places which consist of hostels are not good. The food on the other hand is also below average.
I’m studying BTech in Computer Science with specialisation in Software Engineering as I have an interest in the course. The internals taken throughout each semester is a tad bit tough but the end semester exams are manageable.
The quality of placements in this college is not very good. According to websites, the placement record is more than 80 percent but in real, it’s questionable. The average salary package offered is around 5-6 lakhs.
I pay around 24 lakhs for my course fees and my hostel fees for 4 years which is quite expensive. The return of investment is not up to the mark that I expected it to be considering such costs but they can be improved.
The surroundings of the college is brilliant and I believe that the crowd is also amazing. The availability of resources is up to the mark and the location is also convenient. Yes it can handle emergencies due to availability of hospitals and police stations as well.
Nope
