Thapar has all the facilities and equipment for students it has wifi all over the college it has good labs and hostels. Mess food is hygienic and campus is very clean. Thapar also provide many sports facilities to students.

Currently I am pursuing computer science and engineering from Thapar University .The quality of teaching is very good with highly qualified teachers. Maximum teachers are phd holders and they are very friendly. Our course also has all the updates and recent development of our field and it ensures that you get good placement in future.

Placement of Thapar University are good. The highest placement was around 43 lac and the average placement is around 10 lac for all branches and for computer related branches it goes to 13 lacs. 90% of students gets placed every year.

Thapar is quite expensive college . it cost around 4 lac per year and in this mess and hostel fees are not included. But it is worth spending money because of the facilities it provides

Thapar univeristy has a great Infrastructure it has great classrooms, labs and wifi alll over the campus. Hostels are also very good and are well maintained. Mess food is also hygenic and campus is greena and clean. There are many sports facilities also for all type of sports.

I agree that Thapar is a expensive college with a tution fees of 4 lac per year but it gives many facilities so your money doesnt get waste and I feel its worth taking admission there so that your future is safe

If you are coming to Thapar then you will have the best college life you can have. Campus is very beautifull and you will have the best time of your life. Staff and students are also very good and cooperative. It is very safe college with security guards at few distance

College has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments required to grow and learn. In classroom we have wifi, smart board, projector. All of them are well maintained. Living space and food are also hygienic

I have studied B.E. computer engineering. Reason of choosing this course is good placemens for computer science students. Quality of teaching is decent. Curriculum is up to date with the inclusion of all latest trending fields like AI, ML, etc

Quality of placement is pretty good. Overall percentage of placement across all streams is around 80. For computer engineering it is above 95. Highest salary package is 32 lac CTC , offered by D.E Shaw in computer engineering stream.

i went to college for 1 month and had an amazing experience, The infrastructure is really good and the hostel is value for money. Hostel n is newly constructed and is very well maintained. Clean washrooms.

my branch is electronics and computer and it has the best placements record, even the highest package was also from my branch. the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field

placements are good, all the big names you must have heard visit our college. average package is 8-9 lakhs and for computer branches is 10 lakhs. highest package offered on campus was 45lakhs from enc branch.

It's a 250 acre campus consisting of more than 7 hostels. The academic area is divided into 6 blocks for different branches. Sports facilities consists of a large football/cricket ground, race track, swimming pool, badminton and lawn tennis court, volleyball court. The hostels are also provided with Table tennis room and AC reading room.

This is the only negative point of the college. The teacher to student ratio is very less, and most of the teachers are not well versed with their subjects. The course curriculum is made in a quite irrational manner. In the end you will find that most of the subjects taught during the initial semesters are very irrelevant to the opted course.

More than 95% of students are placed according to the reports published by the university. Avg package ranges from 7-10 lacs. More than 200 companies visit our college. The average package offered for the students of electrical branch was 3 LPA to 4 LPA only. College doesn't put any efforts to provide internships, rather asks students to arrange on their own.

Thapar is one of the popular and oldest universities. Many facilities are provided to students such as AC labs with required instruments, Wi-Fi in every building, canteen and hostel. AC is available in some classrooms as well. Thapar is a good platform for co-curricular activities. Students can join societies of their interest such as literary, paintings, sports, dance or music. The hostel is too good, and the food is delivered by Sodexo which is a well-known private company.

The faculty are good. Good networking is present in Thapar. All the teachers have good knowledge and deliver their knowledge to students in a proper way with the use of a whiteboard or PPTs. The course curriculum is updated every year according to new technologies. New technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, natural language processing are part of the curriculum. In a class, nearly 70-80 students are present.

The placements are good in Thapar. 90% of the students are placed in 2018 batch. The highest package offered was 32 lacs per annum, offered by De Shaw. Many prestigious companies visit the college every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, De Shaw, JP Morgan, Walmart Labs, SanDisk, Samsung, Delloite and many more. JP Morgan visited 3 times to hire for different profiles. A well-furnished placement cell is there, which is very useful for students.
