I had so many friends in LPU from B.Tech CSE and i can brief you about the insights of B.Tech in LPU. Curriculum is updated covering all the contemporary issues. LPU offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Both are decent private universities with decent placements. But comparatively, Thapar University has got a little edge over LPU because of great education facilities and available faculty. The placements are almost similar. Infrastructure wise again THAPAR University is better. But when it comes to fees, Thapar charges a lot more than LPU for the btech course. THAPAR University is ranked 12 but has a fees of 16 lakhs approximately for the btech course. LPU Phagwara is ranked 35th and has a fees of 10.05 lakhs roughly for the full btech course. So depending upon this information, and choosing any differential criteria, you can choose the one which suits you more...
