    Value for Money

The college provides good education and facilities consider considering the fee structure the exposure learning opportunities and placement support make it a value for money option for students. But it ain't upto mark.

High fees, low quality, constant frustration

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very poor and disappointing. the college is mostly under construction which creates noise dust and inconvenience basic facilities are not well maintained. overall it does not support proper learning environment. 70% of the times equipment's in the class don't work. kind of disappointing and wifi dont work at all in many areas

    Academics

i am doing b.tech and God the academic is a complete failure. most teachers don't have the subject clarity, they read from the pdf's and call it a lecture. it feels pointless to attend a lecture and grading system is absurd and unfair like what even is average grading, so an individual's study doesn't matter. it seems so demotivating. feels pointless when in the end of the day you rely on you-tubes and self-study. many teachers don't even upload the material and then they grade like they taught like an iit teacher. the attendance policy and timetable is also so absurd you'll need to pay 6k if u get debarred from an examination (even from 0.5% u can get debarred)

    Placements

Placements are poorly designed and extremely unfair. students are filtered through stages like 9.5 CGPA first then 9.0 and so on. real skills, internships, projects nothing will matter if u don't have high CGPA. this eliminates students with capability and only favours number

    Value for Money

ABSOLUTELY NO! we pay large amount of money for zero academics, zero placements and poor infrastructure. there is no proper support no proper guidance no quality education and most importantly ZERO career assurance. paying such high fees is a total waste of money

    Campus Life

very average and frustrating. guars roam and shout and students for minor mistakes or even a misunderstanding treat us like a criminal than an adult. u need to pay 500 fine if you are even 1 min. late. the atmosphere is very restricting and very dull. yes, there are events and even a FEST but even those lack proper management. very boring life here

    Others

hostels are very poor mess is so bad u can get food poisoning any time management is no poor, no proper solution to your problem even medical room people don't know to treat basic cough and cold

Modern campus, strict academics, decent placement

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

VIT-AP infrastructure is modern and growing fast. Campus has good classrooms, labs, library, hostels, Wi-Fi, sports areas and a clean environment. Still, some facilities are developing and campus feels smaller than VIT Vellore.

    Academics

VIT-AP academics are decent and improving. Curriculum is structured, exams are regular, and most subjects are manageable if you study consistently. Some faculty are really good, but quality varies. Attendance, assignments, and grading are strict, so you can’t take academics lightly.

    Placements

VIT-AP placements are okay but not at VIT Vellore level. Good students do get decent packages, mainly in IT/software roles. Average packages are moderate, and top offers depend a lot on your skills, projects, coding, and internships. Many opportunities are shared with VIT group, but competition is high.

    Value for Money

VIT-AP is moderate value for money. Fees are high compared to many state/private colleges, and placements aren’t as strong as VIT Vellore. But if you use the infrastructure, maintain good CGPA, build skills (DSA + projects), you can still make it worth it. If you’re expecting guaranteed top placements just because of the brand, then value feels less.

    Campus Life

VIT-AP campus life is decent but still developing. There are clubs, events, fests, sports, and a good student crowd. Hostels are okay and campus is clean, but the campus is smaller and nightlife/outing options are limited since it’s away from the main city. Overall, it’s fun if you actively join clubs and make friends.

    Others

VIT-AP is a modern, growing campus with good infrastructure, clean hostels, labs, library, Wi-Fi, sports and active clubs. Academics are structured and strict with attendance, assignments and regular exams, though faculty quality varies. Placements are decent mainly for CS/IT but not at VIT Vellore level; good offers depend heavily on your skills, coding and projects. Overall, it’s moderate value for money if you work hard.

    Placements

VIT-AP offers good placement with strong recruiter presence. Good average packages, skill focused training and ample internship opportunities. High performing students get top tier offers. Still placements depends on your own hardwork.

    Value for Money

College offers good value for money with strong academics, modern facilities and active placements.

    Campus Life

vibrant with clubs, sports, clean hostels and a friendly atmosphere.

    Others

Studying at college has been a solid experience overall. The academic load is structured, but manageable. And most faculty generally try to help you if you reach out. Campus life feels active. We usually have events, club meets or sports happening. Infrastructure is modern, especially the labs and library, which actually help during project work.

My experience has been good as well as bad

    College Infrastructure

The college is still under construction majorly the hostels there are 6 mens hostels and 3 ladies hostels and with 3 academic buildings Overall the campus is just an average looking campus Also the grounds are very limited and not much place to play for the students. Multiple games go on in the same ground like cricket and football together

    Academics

Quality of teaching is average where there are fee teachers who are very knowledgeable and very support but there are few teacher who just read ppts and end the class Finally the students has to study on his own to get good grades For the curriculum the student can easily pass the subject by reading the ppt given by the faculty and score good grades

    Placements

Quality of placement is a bit poor due to the location factor but still companies like Accenture, TCS and L&T mindtree come to the college Mostly students prefer off campus placements and mostly those students have succeeded

    Value for Money

Definitely not value for money when you come from cat-3 or cat-4 and value for money for cat-1 admissions

    Campus Life

There are many clubs in which the students can enroll in and make contacts Worst thing about this college is its construction. Student find it very annoying but later the college will be better. Student can enroll in sport team after showing the skills in the game. The campus is very strict it proper timings all student should enter their hostels before 8:30pm

    Others

This college can be an option for students who have no other options for btech

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at VIT-AP is modern and still developing. Academic blocks are well-designed with smart classrooms, projectors, Wi-Fi connectivity and decent seating. Computer labs are equipped with updated systems, though availability can be an issue during peak hours. The central library is spacious, digital-friendly and useful for both academic and self-learning purposes. Hostels are clean but feel congested at times, and maintenance can be inconsistent. Sports facilities exist but are limited compared to older campuses. Overall, infrastructure is good but still evolving.

    Academics

I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and the academic structure is well-planned with a focus on both theory and application. Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in core subjects like programming, data structures and mathematics. The curriculum is regularly updated and includes modern topics such as AI, ML and cloud computing. Continuous assessments, assignments and projects help in concept clarity. However, teaching quality varies across faculty, and self-learning plays an important role in excelling academically.

    Placements

Placements at VIT-AP are steadily improving every year. The placement cell is active and provides regular updates, training sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many students get placed in IT, software development and service-based companies. The average package is reasonable for a growing campus, and a few students secure high-paying offers through strong skills and projects. While the campus is still building its placement reputation, opportunities are good for students who stay consistent and proactive in skill development.

    Value for Money

Considering the facilities, brand value of VIT and exposure provided, the course offers decent value for money. The tuition fee is on the higher side, but students gain access to a structured curriculum, modern labs, online resources and industry-oriented learning. If a student actively participates in projects, hackathons, internships and self-learning, the return on investment becomes worthwhile. However, students who rely only on classroom teaching may feel the cost is slightly high.

    Campus Life

Campus life at VIT-AP is calm and disciplined, with a growing number of clubs, chapters and technical events. Cultural fests, hackathons and workshops provide opportunities for interaction and skill development. Hostel life encourages bonding, though strict rules can sometimes feel limiting. Food quality is average and repetitive. Since the campus is located away from the city, entertainment options outside campus are limited. Overall, campus life is decent but can improve with more activities and freedom.

    College Infrastructure

The campus has basic infrastructure with decent classrooms, libraries, and labs. WI-FI works intermittently and some equipment feels outdated. Hostels and common areas are mostly clean but maintenance can be inconsistent.

    Academics

Teaching quality is average, some faculty are knowledgeable while others rely mostly on slides. Curriculum is fairly updated but could be more practical. Labs are okay, but more hands-on learning and projects would help students better.

    Placements

Placements are average, some students get good opportunities while others struggle. The process is generally smooth but support from the placement cell varies. Salary packages are moderate not very high.

    Value for Money

Fees are on the higher side, but the campus, facilities and basic academic resources are decent. The college offers an acceptable experience for the amount charged though there is room for improvement.

    Campus Life

Campus life is calm with cultural and technical events. Students are generally friendly and the environment feels safe. Facilities are decent, though some amenities could be better organized and maintained.
