Adaikalamatha Institute of Management, Thanjavur has a placement cell to provide training and placement assistance to its students. AIM Thanjavur placements are looked after by the Placement and Training Officer who is assisted by one faculty co-coordinator and two students as representatives from the final batch of MBA. 

AIM Thanjavur Placement Cell launched a new career guidance programme in recent years through Excel club, which conducts career guidance, resume guidance and interview guidance workshops on campus for the benefit of the students. The placement program at Adaikalamatha Institute of Management, Thanjavur begins at the start of the fourth semester.
