Admission Process 2021
AMC Engineering College offers B.E programmes in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Science, Electrical and Electronics and Civil, M.Tech programmes in Computer Science, Digital Electronics & Communication, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Power Systems Engineering and Machine Design, MBA in Marketing, Finance, HR and Systems and MCA programme to the students. Admission to BE Programmes is offered on the basis of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and further candidates have to participate in the counselling process. Admission to M.Tech is offered on the basis of PGCET and GATE scores followed by participation in the counselling process conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).AMCE Bangalore offers an MBA on the basis of National or State level Management Entrance Exam viz, Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) or CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CMAT. Merit-based admission is offered for MCA courses. The last stage of admission to every course offered by AMCE comprises document verification and fee payment. Admission is confirmed only when the document gets verified by the institute and the requisite fee is paid. Admission process for B.E programmes:
The candidates need to appear for Karnataka CET/Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
In the second process, they have to appear for the counselling and give preference to AMC.
The merit list will be prepared accordingly the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in KCET/COMEDK and preferences to the courses and colleges.
The seat will be allotted to the candidates in the counselling rounds.
As per the allotment, candidates need to visit the AMC and complete the admission process.
Admission process for M.Tech programmes:
M.Tech aspirants must qualify for the Karnataka PGCET or GATE.
Candidates who have a valid score of PGCET or GATE have to register for counselling, which is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
They have to visit the facilitation centre for documents verification.
They also need to complete the choice filling and lock their choices of colleges and courses in order of their preference.
The final merit list will be prepared accordingly the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in PGCET, preferences to the courses and colleges and counselling.
