Course Details

Master of Computer Applications at Amity University is a two-year master’s degree course structured over four semesters. Candidates who have completed their graduation (preferably BCA) can apply for the online MCA course at Amity University. Through this two year course, candidates will be taught and trained, both practically and theoretically, to build an understanding of advanced tools, technologies and applications in the Information Technology industry to fulfil the need for IT professionals in the market. This is an online course during which the students will be awarded a total of 103 credit points.

Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up the application form for online MCA at Amity University, it is important for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria.

For Indian Students

Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream.
Must hold a Graduate degree from a recognized university (BCA is preferable)/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Bachelor's Degree in Science, Commerce or Arts with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Candidates without Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation are also eligible after qualifying for the Bridge course.

For Students with Foreign Education

Must be a graduate (BCA is preferable)
Must be good at English (both writing and speaking)
Must have the Certificate of Equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (required by students with foreign education to apply to any University in India).

Amity University, Noida conducts internal and end-term examinations as per the new regulations through the Online Technology Enabled Proctored mode. The weightage internal assessments (assignments) hold is 30% while 70% for end-term examinations. The exam comprises three sections - Section A (Subjective), Section B (Case Studies) and Section C (Multiple Choice Questions).

College Infrastructure

Amity's infrastructure is great, it has red building with so many blocks for every course and has every facility, two big grounds. Canteen food is tasty and pocket friendly. Classrooms are fully furnished and has smart boards. Hostel is also big and has all necessary facilities. Wifi is available throughout whole campus..

College is quite good.

College Infrastructure

As it's a distance learning course, I go college for practical exams only but the facilities and infrastructure are top notch. Including WiFi, well maintained computer labs, centrally air conditioned smart classrooms and big library. Food is good and hygienic. They have ground and court for every single sports.
