Generally, BTC Ernakulam admission process is conducted through the Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM). The singles state-level entrance exam will be the common gateway for any aspiring candidates to be considered for admission into engineering courses at the institution.

The candidate is usually required to have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects for basic eligibility to B.Tech courses offered by BTC.

The following steps are involved in the admissions of the Baselios Thomas I Catholicose College of Engineering and Technology:

• KEAM Examination: Under this step, the students will have to register for and then appear for the KEAM examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala.
• KEAM Application: Fill in the KEAM application form mentioning all required details along with preferences of colleges and courses.

• Fee Payment: Payment of the admission and tuition fee as per the college and university stipulations.
• Final admission: Complete admission formalities at BTC with the submission of original documents and other requirements stipulated by the college.

For various fields of engineering, BTC provides five industrial B.Tech programmes. BTC Ernakulam admission process for these courses is mainly based on the performance of the candidate in the KEAM examination. B.Tech programmes include:
