Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology admission for B.Tech programmes is based on the scores in JEE conducted by West Bengal Board of Examination or JEE Main. The five B.Tech programmes offered are:

      • Mechanical Engineering (120 seats)
      • Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
      • Electrical Engineering (60 seats)
      • Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats)

      Applicants must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to be eligible for B.Tech courses.

      Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology M.Tech Admission Process

      Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology offers two M.Tech courses:

      • Heat Power Engineering (18 seats)
      • Manufacturing Engineering (18 seats)

      Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology admission to M.Tech courses is based on GATE scores or an entrance examination by MAKAUT (WBUT), followed by a personal interview. The applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant subject to be eligible.
