CIPET Bhopal, an institute of national importance was established in the year 1988. This institute is situated at the Govindpura Industrial Area of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India and mainly focuses quality education in the area of petrochemicals engineering and technology. They said CIPET Bhopal is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE to maintain higher standard in education. The institute occupies a rural campus area of 6 acres which accommodate a variety of facilities for academics and co-curricular. Having 29 efficient and committed faculty members, CIPET Bhopal presently provides total 4 specialisation programmes under 1 course of Degree programme in the field of plastics technology and its affiliated sectors.

The library is a center of knowledge and learning and boasts of over three thousand, five hundred and twenty two books, journals, periodicals and references. The institute has two hostel Sections one for Boys and the other for Girls, the hostels are provided with internet rooms, reading rooms, indoor games and gym.
