Yes Coimbatore Institute of Technology is one of the best institutes of Engineering in India. And CSE branch is one of the most upcoming branch as we all know, so it has great placement opp of course from the CIT campus. The teaching faculty and the facilities as well are up-to-date and supper efficient. The only thing is can't use the tag of CIT and sit overconfident about the placements, of course you've to struggle and acquire knoweldege and be that capable first and then yes on merit you will have ample opportunities.

ICT Mumbai, i.e. Institute of Chemical Technology is a UGC approoved, NAAC A++ credited institute located in Mumbai. It is a quite reputed and old institute. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs, where as highest package was around 14 lakhs. There are good companies visiting the campus, and the college is good in terms of academics, hostel, faculty, infrastructure wise. Companies such as Kellogs, Asian Paints, Pidilite, Hospira, Cipla , Akzonobel, Opal, Alfa laval, ITC, L&T UPL visit the campus.

Therefore in my opinion it is a right decision, considering placements and overall life.
