Well qualified teachers are teaching at CEC. And they mainly focus on the syllubus. And our academic curriculum is updated and they provide notes and give the assignments and tests properly. And the study makes us job-ready.
I am currently in my final year of CSE. College has always depended upon the Computer Science Branch for the good results. Quality of teaching is good with what its currently providing, but I believe it should change. The curriculum needs to be updated to include new technologies. I won't say that the current curriculum makes us job-ready.

As per stats, Chengannur Engineering College is better in terms of placement and college life. The highest CTC offered in Chengannur Engineering College is 8 LPA.
On the other hand SJ CET is more like a school than a college with the placement slightly below Chengannur Engineering College.

As far as College of Engineering (Kidangoor) is concerned this institution is shining with excellent records in academic as well as extracurricular fields and has excellent faculty and well established facilities. The institute provides both interships and placements however most of them are for cs and IT.
