CEK Karunagappally Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

College of Engineering Karunagappally offers admission in the branch of Engineering Studies. The college provides admission in B.Tech and M.Tech courses, available at UG and PG levels. The candidates must obtain a valid score in the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM), for B.Tech admission and a GATE score is preferred but not mandatory, for M.Tech admissions. The College of Engineering Karunagappally admissions are conducted through Kerala state counselling rounds called “Centralised Admission Process” (CAP). 

The B.Tech CAP rounds are conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala and for M.Tech, is conducted by the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala.

• B.Tech applicants must obtain a valid score in KEAM. 

• Afterwards, they need to appear for the state counselling rounds of the KEAM exam, conducted by CEE.  

• The College of Engineering Karunagappally B.Tech admission will be through CAP, which will allot a seat in the institute, as per their score in the exam and choice filling. 

• The College of Engineering Karunagappally M.Tech admissions are conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. 

• They would need to register for the state counselling rounds on the DTE Kerala website. 

• The CEK Karunagappally M.Tech admission will be through CAP as well.

• The candidate must meet the B.Tech eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• They are required to obtain a valid score in the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). 

• Then, they need to register on the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala website to participate in the counselling rounds.

• They must fill out the registration form with valid details and then proceed to do the choice filing option.

• To increase the chances of being allotted the college, the applicant must put the College of Engineering Karunagappally at the top of the list, to indicate priority. 

• If an applicant is allotted the institute, then they must report to the college, to carry out admission-related formalities and pay the College of Engineering Karunagappally B.Tech course fee, to finalise admission. 

The college offers admission to the Master of Technology degree programme, which is a PG-level course. Upon completion of the degree, the candidate possesses a mastery in the specialisation chosen and obtains a technical degree, through which one can pursue jobs or go into research.

• The candidate must meet the M.Tech eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• A valid GATE score is preferred but not required. Those who have a GATE score must disclose the same at the time of registering for counselling.  

• The candidate must register online on the DTE Kerala official website.

• They would need to create an email ID and password, through which they can access the registration form and the counselling portal. 

• The candidate must do choice filling for CAP rounds. 

• If he/she is allocated a seat in the College of Engineering Karunagappally, they must download the allotment order/ letter and report for physical verification at the institute.  

• To finalise their seat, candidates must pay the College of Engineering Karunagappally M.Tech course fee.
