Yes you can apply for MBA programme in GITAM

So the eligibility criteria for MBA in gitam is

1. You must have a bachelor degree or equivalent,  with a minimum of 50% aggregate Mark's or equivalent in any discipline.

Selection round is based on written test:

GITAM online test (GOT) or a high score in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ NMAT group discussion and personal interview

Also depending on the specialization you choose in MBA that is , If your choosing MBA ( fin tech)or MBA (business analytics )  the eligibility criteria would be bachelor degree in B.E / B.Tech / BCA with minimum  60 % Mark's in aggregate.

And the written test is same as mentioned above

VIT AP and Gitam Vixag are both good colleges. VIT AP is a relatively new college, but past VIT campuses have performed well in terms of placements and academics. After all, it is the student, not the institution, who is most responsible for his future. When it comes to placements, GITAM University Vizag has a lot of opportunities for CSC and IT students. With a large package of 18L, the university was able to draw in good firms like Microsoft and Amazon.

If we talk about  NAAC accreditation, Gitam Vizag has NAAC accreditation of A+. While VIT AP has NAAC accreditation of A.

So it's up to you to decide where you want to put your best foot forward.

The college have very good faculty members with specialization in trending topics such as Data Management, Cyber security etc, so you will be able to learn some of the most trending topics from the experts in the field. Also the placements in GITAM is better than that of SRC. SRC is mostly visited by small start ups and mid range  company  but in GITAM the big companies approaches the colleges, so you will have better possibility to get a job in top companies.

Kalisalingam University:-

Placements: Very few companies visit Kalasalingam University. IBM is the main one, and the remaining companies are small start-ups. TCS, Wipro, etc., companies don't even come here. IBM offers few jobs. Internships in our university are good with few start-ups.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and every student is provided with personal ID and password with a limit of 1 GB per day. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped and smart. Medical facilities are good, and the canteen is good. All kinds of food items are available in the university.

GITAM Bengaluru :-

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, CTS, CGI, Accenture and Wipro. Almost 95% of the students got internships from BSNL and ECIL Bangalore. The top role offered in our course is team lead. Most of the top recruiters are TCS, Wipro and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Everything is good, like a home with excellent quality. Students are highly satisfied with the college environment as it is totally user-friendly with privacy, and I have not faced any problems here. Every room in the hostel has Wi-Fi, a table, a bed and a closet.

This is not just about Gitam University(Bengaluru) but this is about what kind of students a corporate world want. Basically keeping CGPA above 7 makes a student eligible for almost all the companies coming for placements to college. Also in engineering it is not difficult to get marks above 8 CGPA too. So a CGPA above 7 and if possible above 8 makes a student to have greater opportunities during placements.

Placement is a important part for any college. To get in a college with good placement rate ensures a better chance of getting good packaged jobs. Now as you can see both of this college are of well repute and are really hard to compare. But it is of no doubt that GITAM have better placement rates. The college is visited by some of the top companies in IT such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ebay, Wipro, Cognizant etc. So if you wish to work in top IT firms with a very lucrative package, then I would say GITAM provides you a better possibility of such jobs.

No doubt both colleges provide good infrastructure facilities such as digital classrooms, modified libraries, sports facilities, cafeterias with hygienic food and all other necessities. The faculty members of both the colleges are also master in their subjects. But the placement records of Gitam University are better over Karunya Institute of Technology. Companies such as Deleoitte, TCS, Wipro, Amazon , Microsoft, Google etc visit the Gitam University with high paid job profiles (as per the reviews).

GITAM Bengaluru is equipped with great infrastructure and provides good education facilities.

When it comes to placements, training is provided from the 1st year itself and students can decide from which company they want to get trained.

As of now, from insights shared by students the average package for CSE is 4-4.5 lpa while the median salary is 3-3.5 lpa. The highest salary has been 18 lpa. Around 90% of the eligible students got placed.
