GITAM Bhubaneswar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Institute has a full board for residential students. First Year boys hostel is presently located inside the campus and can accommodate up to 150 students. A double floored central library of 9000sq.ft. carpet area, named as Knowledge Centre. In-campus hostels for gents – an abode for 1100 students. The rooms are spaciously designed to accommodate either two or three students all have attached toilets and bathrooms. The college provides 100% hostel facilities.

In campus hostels for both ladies and gents – an abode for 1100 students rooms are specious & designed to accommodate either two or three students & all have attached toilets, bathrooms. The college provides 100% hostel facilities. For the Girls' Hostel outside the campus college bus is available.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The college has a well-equipped medical facility within the campus to provide first-hand emergency services to Faculty members and students. Serious cases are generally transferred to any city hospital in Bhubaneswar. The institute provides 24 hours of ambulance service.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. The Institute has three well-equipped moderated single station Gymnasium Hall both for boys and girls in different hostels. In the boy's hostel, a wide range of equipment like Bench Press, Butterfly, Cable Cross Over, Preacher, Leg press AB Crunch, Dumbbells, and Rubber Plates have been provided for their physical fitness. The Girl's hostel is also equipped with modern exercise tools like a motorized Treadmill, AB King Pro, Exercise Bike Stepper Twister, Gym Ball, And Vibrator. Apart from the above facilities, yoga classes are regularly organized in the Institute by Art of Living and other Spiritual foundations. Various indoor and outdoor game facilities like Cricket, volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Cand arom are available in the Institute. Students actively participate in various sports activities under the guidance of a well-skilled and experienced Sports Officer. Separate playgrounds are available in the Institute premises for the above games and sports activities. Every year several intramural games competitions are held among the students and selected students participate in the district level and state-level competitions.

The college provides 200 capacity canteens with an Aqua guard chilled water facility. There are facilities for vegetarians and Non-Vegetarian, delicious foods in the college canteen just to provide nutritious, hygienic, and homely food to keep them fit keeping an eye on their day-to-day needs.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The Institute has 9 (nine) buses each with 52 seating capacity. Interested student of the institute is provided transport from specified points of Bhubaneswar, Khordha, and Cuttack route to campus and back. The timings and other operational details of the transport are notified on the Institute Notice Board. Entry into the bus is on the basis of the production of the I-Card. A faculty member in charge of the transport section looks after the arrangements. Any difficulty with respect to the transport should be brought to the notice of the transport in charge.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
