Don’t worry about it,219 is a pretty good score for any branch and considering the fact that around 1200+ seats are available in CSE,you can very comfortably make your way into CSE .Just make sure you attend the counselling.If they are not ready to offer you a seat wait it out till final round of counselling.

You rank will be around 1400.

The student who want to get admission in B.Tech(except biotechnology) at GITAM need to have minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry and Maths as well as in aggregate in Class 12. Congrats for getting good marks in GAT 2016.

Yes, getting 117 marks in  GAT is enough to get into GITAM University, Vizag. You can get easily as you didn't mention your gat rank, so for CSE, I suppose you might have got a rank of below 500.

Best to take CSE or IT in GITAM as anyway, they'll get the majority of IT companies for recruitments.

              Your GITAM score is good. So you have the chances to get CSE their. Just for the  rank list & counselling. When the counselling will Start, you will get to know what you are getting. But according to previous year's, you will have good ranking.
