Genba Sopanrao Moze College of Engineering, Balewadi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has Hostel facilities with well-furnished rooms that are available for girls. All amenities like messing, Xerox Centre, STD booth, etc. have also been provided. The college is having facilities for all types of indoor as well as outdoor games. The college is in the process of establishing a 16-station multi-gym for college students. The hostel is equipped with a 6000 ltr/day solar heater water system for providing hot water. Internet browsing(wi-fi) facility is available to all students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. A free health check-up camp has been conducted for the last 5 years under G S Moze trust, Balewadi, Pune. This is a continuation of last year’s initiative which was conducted in 5 schools & colleges benefitting 1000 students & faculty. A general health check-up camp was carried out to facilitate early detection of deficiencies and general health of students & faculty.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

A library consisting of 30573 books and a large collection of 110 print journals, 454 e-journals from ScienceDirect, IEEE, and 2015 e-books from Springer. Remote Access is provided to e-content through 640 PCs on college campuses. The library is fully automated, Area of the library is 600 m2 including a Reference and reading hall.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has a playground for different outdoor games such as Football, Volleyball, Cricket, and Kabaddi. The user rate of sports may vary depending on academic schedule and student interest. During a time of regular academics, students are allowed to utilize the ground from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, but at the time of PLs, the semester break user rate is high, and there are no time limitations for such days. The college has facilities for indoor games such as Carom, Chess, and Yoga.

The departments have sufficient numbers of computers with 70 Mbps internet speed connections and the relevant software which helps the researchers for their activities. The institute accommodates an up-to-date library with state-of-the-art infrastructure and resources like reference books, journal papers, conference proceedings, e-journals, etc.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The canteen facility is available to provide healthy and hygienic food.

Institute is having 4 seminar halls with an ICT facility.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for students and staff.
