At the time of counselling your category rank will not be considered, only your gmr will be considered. With this rank you may have chances to get IT branch in this college. You should go for all rounds of counselling . From the below link you will get

Among the 3 mentioned universities GCETTS do not have that good placement opportunities in comparing to the other two.
GCELT gets good placement opportunities as 80% students get the placement opportunities with highest salary of 7 lakhs PA and also 90% of students
