GCECT Admission Process 2021
Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology offers admission to various undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Tech) courses. Admission to B.Tech is done through the WBJEE examination while for M.Tech candidates have to appear for GATE/PGET examination. Further, the candidates have to appear for the counselling process for the seat allotment. The detailed admission processes are given below:
For B.Tech:
- Candidates have to qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE).
- Aspirants have to register for the institute-level counseling process conducted by GCECT.
- Final admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For M.Tech:
- Candidates have to qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/PGET.
- Aspirants have to register for the institute-level counseling process conducted by GCECT.
- Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in GATE/PGET, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
GCECT View Course Specific Admission Process 2021
You must have a valid WBJEE rank along with domicile certificate in proof of permanent residency in the state of West Bengal.
