Dear Student,

There is no chance that you can get any of the NIT with this percentile no matter from which category you belong (except pwd), you need more than 95 percentile so that you can thing about any NIT or IIIT.

You can participate in your state counselling there you might get some college in lower branches, or you can move to the private colleges with the direct admission like Chandigarh University, Amity, Sharda, LPU, etc.

With this it is actually tough for you to get GEC Bhavnagar. As per the previous year cut off trends yours is slightly high. But cut offs are carried every year on the basis of students available and seat capacity. In that case you have a caste category so may be you have low chances . According to NIRF and NAAC score DDIT is a good college than GEC and considering the placement statistics DDIT have a good record for B.E./B.Tech with a median salary 4.08 lakh. DDIT also have all the basic needs like gym , college hostels, cafeteria, library etc.

Government Engineering College of Ceramic Engineering, Kolkata  is definitely well known for B.Tech in Cermaic Technology and you can pursue your degree from there. But since you considered B.Tech in CSE from other private colleges, I am assuming that you like Computer Science and in that case, you should always follow your heart and pursue CSE because that will help you in your future endeavors.

Since you have not good very good percentage in the examination it should be difficult for you to get into some of the best engineering colleges but since you are from OBC category you can get some decent colleges in some of the rounds. Moreover you can also register yourself for the counselling process in order to get admission through the state quota criteria. Some of the colleges which might be of your interest- GIET Gunupur, kalinga Institute of information Technology, CV Raman global University, Adarsha college of Engineering, Siksha o anusandhan University, are some of them.

Cooch Behar Government Engineering College, West Bengal is good for Placements. Almost a bout 50 percentage of the students have been placed in IT companies like Top Companies are Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.  The highest salary offered is Rs. 5.5 Lakhs per annum and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 3.5 Lakhs per annum.
