Hello,

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking of the Engineering colleges is as follows

  • Heritage  Institute of Technology, Kolkata: 154
  • Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata: 191

This is NIRF 2020 ranking. Government Engineering College of Ceramic Technology, Kolkata and Kalyani government engineering college, Nadia are not ranked in top 200 Engineering colleges in 2020 by NIRF.

Hey dear, you need to wait for you jee exam only then you can decide where you want to pursue your engineering. Since you are insisting for govt. Enguneering college so only when you clear jee exam than only you can enter any one of them. As far as private colleges are concerned you can take admission any time you want through management quota.

Hi there,

Studying engineering at any govt and private college has no comparison.

If you want to become a good engineer and want good packages and some great companies then try to crack jee so that you could get into a NIT, IIT or any national level private college which is NAAC accredited and having a good Nirf ranking.

Studying at any college is not that fruitful.

I hope this help

The campus is good you'll get most of engineering related equipment which used in learning engineering and practical uses of application. And not sure about canteen because it's changed. You need to rely on outside food. Outside the campus
