This college for Polytechnic was started in the year 2010 located at Dholpur, Rajasthan and it is one of the Government Educational Institutions for technical education. This is affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and imparts quality education in various stream of engineering. Located on 5-acre campus, the college has a total intake capacity of 267 students and a team of 15 committed faculties.

Government Polytechnic College aims at ensuring that all its students attain their intended learning goals in the most effective learning environment. It encompasses a variety of facilities for the development of our pupils’ academic and individual growth. The campus includes a school library that will become an ultimate resource center of the school where students can enhance their knowledge across the required disciplines. For practical learning activities, the college has well-equipped laboratory to meet department’s requirements.

Government Polytechnic College also acknowledges the role of technology in contemporary learning environment and therefore has well equipped IT facilities together with Wi-Fi within the whole compound. Toward this end, the college has constructed services for games so that students can work out and have recreation as a way of maintaining a balance between study and Exercise. Those include on-campus cafeteria where students and staff can get some snacks and drinks and casual communication. Lecture facilities include an auditorium in which seminars, workshops, and cultural activities are held in larger groups. It also has an active alumni associations through which communication is closely knitted between current students and the former students of the college.

Government Polytechnic College, situated in Dholpur has offered a total of six diploma courses that includes only full time course. These courses are offered for various branches of engineering and offer a good base on this profession to students. College offers five B.Tech first shift full time diploma programmes of three year duration in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Architecture Engineering.

This campus admits 300 students in total, but within each of its programmes, every course can take 60 students. This helps to adhere to the student-to-faculty ratio ratio in order to address individual needs and farm effective knowledge.
