There are reading rooms in each hostel where students can read Magazines and Newspapers to keep themselves updated. Pure vegetarian and homely food are prepared by skilled cooks. Hostel day, sports week, Lohri, New Year, etc. are celebrated by the students every year.

The College has a well-furnished Library section at par with International Standards with a Fully Automated, Bar Coded, and Multimedia Library. Separate Reference and reading sections are available, thus providing a smooth and calm environment for the readers. A Book bank facility is available and Three Library cards to each student and five Library cards to each Faculty are provided by the University. The library is open for 11 hours daily and on Sundays too it is open for students. The audio-visual room is the key construction for readers to enjoy the audio collections along with the Indoor environment, elegant and exquisite decoration, with advanced audio-visual equipment.

The College has all the necessary amenities for the Gyanviharites. The University has technically sound Cricket grounds, Volleyball grounds, Basketball courts, and Football grounds. The facilities show that we believe in the overall development of the students, be it Academics or Extra co-curricular activities.

The College auditorium is a central and imperative space in any organization, propitious enough to have one in our campus, which is delightfully built with the seating capacity of 300 students, centrally air-conditioned, LCD Projector, magnificent green room facilities, WIFI enabled, enormous sound system, up-to-the-minute lighting system, to count a few. It is used for all types of the ceremonial congregation, lectures, award ceremonies, dramatic plays, musical programs, concert performances of the orchestra, band, chorus, jazz band, battles of the bands, dance competitions, and so on. These varied events place a range of demands on the room. For all events, it is essential that everyone in the room hear, clearly and enjoyable, everything that is presented. This is the goal of our auditorium named "Kalindi".

The College has a primary health center that is working 24*7 to cater to any medical emergencies which can be taken care of at a primary level. A doctor and nurse are always present to take care of the students. A female doctor also visits this center to provide for the well-being of the female students.

The College provides a well-equipped gymnasium where students work out to keep themselves fit. A Physical Trainer is available round the clock, who creates a dynamic exercise program for every trainee separately, based upon his or her personal goals, unique metabolism, and fitness level. He combines high-intensity workouts and basic nutrition education with the motivation that students need to reach their goals and maintain long-term fitness.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The University offers elaborate banking services within the campus premises. The University maintains its accounts with the leading nationalized bank Corporation Bank. The bank has also installed an ATM facility for the students on the campus. There are also two other ATMs ( ICICI Bank & Axis Bank) available at the University Campus. It makes it easy for the students of SGVU to open their bank accounts and get banking services within the campus.
