The College has a Boy's Hostel with a capacity of 240. The hostel room is spacious and well-ventilated with the provision of adequate lighting, fans, and cupboards so that students can relax in a comfortable environment and stay fresh for further reading and practicing their skills even after working hours. A common room has been provided to set up a communication platform among the residents where they can share and know more about different cultures to where students belong. Thus, residing in a hostel facilitates setting up a unique and interactive community of future engineers and researchers.

The College has a Girl's Hostel with a capacity of 200. The hostel room is spacious and well-ventilated with the provision of adequate lighting, fans, and cupboards so that students can relax in a comfortable environment and stay fresh for further reading and practicing their skills even after working hours. The College shares the campus i.e. Health Park with a Hi-tech medical college and Hospital (HMCS) which accords a unique facility for students and staff. Health services are made available to them at a subsidized price. An ambulance is always ready in times of emergency.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. A Gymnasium is also equipped with state of art exercising machine as an add-on to the physical fitness program.

The College library has facilities like CD-ROMs, online databases, and photocopiers for students. It has well over 1124 titles books and 10050 volumes of books and subscribes to many important journals, national and international. A total of 10 types of newspapers are available daily and more than 35 magazines are available monthly in the library. There is one reading room adjacent to the library which is used by the faculty and students. It has a sitting cubicle capacity of 100 at the same time.

The college has sports facilities for all students. A beautifully maintained ground that makes playing and watching equally fun. HCE is among a few colleges to have in-campus playgrounds.

The College have Air-conditioned Computer Labs furnished with all modern hardware and software with 24 hours of internet service. 100 Computer systems with TFT Monitor and Optical Mouse, LCD projector, Online UPS (11KVA), 2 Servers, DVD writer, Scanners, Printers, etc are available.
