As per your query I would glad to tell you that for getting admission in hindu university for BA history course you need to have atleast 98.75 marks as this was 2020 first cut off in general category which will be around 473/500 marks in class 12 and no 10th marks are not required for taking admission in DU but yes you need to have minium eligbity crteria

NSS Hindu College provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. It has 2 girls hostel near the college run by the college authorities themselves and one run by the municipality. The hostel has very clean rooms, washrooms, reading area, mess area , television etc.
The hostel fee for women is 5000-10,000 INR per month including accommodation and mess (food) charges.

Hindu College, Delhi is the government institutions, accredited by NAAC and Affiliated to Delhi University. As this Institute is public, any candidate apply for professor job is permanent as it is considered as government job. He or she can continue teaching till she retire.
Eligibility for Associate professor is candidate should have Master's Degree with good academic records in which ever field of study he/ she interested in teaching. He/She can apply for Lecturer Post. After 6- 8 years of experience, Candidate can apply NET (National Eligibility Test) Examination and hold Doctoral, PhD. degree for promotion.
After Associate Professor, Candidate has to publish 5 -6 Research papers or Journals or Books in the field of teaching in recognised Journals along with 8 years of experience of Teaching field. Then you can become as Assistant Professor.
To become a professor, Candidate has to publish atleast 10 Research paper/ Journals/ Book along with 12- 14 years of experience in Research field. NET is the examination for applying all three levels of professor. Where candidates are shortlisted as per UGC norms . This is how can be permanent once you get placed in any government university. There is no such rank as Senior professor. The salary of a professor varies stream-wise and Sector-wise ( Government or Private). Academics for history subject are very less in Universities.

the salary is something which can vary with time sometimes you get more sometimes less for the same position generally The average Hindu College salary ranges from approximately 1.3 Lakhs per year for a Lecturer to 3.9 Lakhs per year for a Assistant Professor .
A professor salary can go upto 12lakh INR.

There is only chance that you can get any stream in any college of DU but chances are like you will get only south campuses because the cutoff of North campuses in little bit high campare than south campus especially for science stream.
There is a zero percent chance that you will get science stream in Hindu college because according to the data of previous year, the cutoff was more than 98% and for this definitely it will rise up to 99% because of the unexpected marks students got this year. Better if you can give some other entrance exam to choose the science stream like BHU, AU, JMI or some other.

According to your percentage, yes there are chances for you to get admission in bsc hons mathematics. The cut offs for these top colleges goes upto 98-97%.

As you have mentioned that you have got 9.8 cgpa in your class 12th examination and you wanted to take up admission in Miranda house or Hindu college so let me tell you the cut off generally for streams like economics mathematics and geography does not goes below 99.
So, you need convert your cgpa into percentage and check whether you are clearing the cut off or not. As per my view you need 10 cgpa to clear this colleges.

Inspite of the one of the oldest college of Delhi University. Our infrastructure is quite well maintained. We have all the resources inside the college like good Library, some new classroom with projectors, computer labs and college canteen.
The college building is old but the college have everything well updated in the campus. We have Good Library and even central library of university nearby. New Hostel is also get build for boys though only a few make into hostels.
The college campus size is fine. But the building are quite old,though We have all the facilities inside the campus from air conditioned library to Canteen and sports ground which is famous in whole universit.
