Hello Aspirant,

In general there are 2 ways through which you can get admission to PG courses. One is direct merit based admission if you are DU UG candidate . You will be given seat under the DU quota based on whether you match the cutoff requirements.Another mode is entrance based . Here you have to clear the entrance exam conducted by Delhi University. In order to apply , you need to visit their official websites and fill in the application form for masters.Once you are selected , they will call for interview. However It is better that you contact the departments in each of these colleges if possible, to get proper information regarding the admission procedure.

Hello student ,

If we consider the latest news of India then today ranking Hindu college is ranked as best college as the best Arts and Science College and second best Commerce College in the Country . On the other hand, Jamia is also a good University as far as I know, it has more courses like Law which is not available in Hindu College . Beside this everything depends upon the Course that you want to pursue from either of the the colleges.

Hope it helps !

Hi,
The cutoffs differ depending upon the course and category .
For ex - cutoff for bsc hons. Physics - 99.33% for general category and for bsc hons mathematics - 99%
So if you are from general category you have to score above 99%  for getting a course in  bsc hons in hindu college .
And for b.a. programme the cutoff is generally higher than 98% for general category.
The cutoffs are generally lower for subjects like hindi , sanskrit .
You can check the cutoffs of hindu college from the college website.
Hope it helps.
