Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT) Chennai courses offer two levels of programme, which consist of diploma and undergraduate (UG) courses in different streams. Before filing an admission application, the candidates should satisfy the HIMT eligibility criteria. HIMT courses are limited to Diploma, B.Sc., and B.E./B.Tech. The duration of HIMT courses is from 12 days to 4 years.
HIMT Courses are offered in both full-time and online modes. The HIMT fees are not the same for all courses. The course fee structure at HIMT is between Rs 9.75 Lakhs and Rs 13.00 Lakhs. The HIMT course duration, fees, and the number of seats available differ at each level.

Great College to secure your future
College Infrastructure
HIMT college has excellent infrastructure. Well maintained classroom and equipped library, Basic skill workshop, Ship in Campus, Outdoor ground and Seamanship lab. Special mention to the VR lab which provides engaging and innovative learning experience. They provide separate hostels for male and female cadets maintaining privacy and comfort.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of HIMT College is pretty good. There are various labs for practical experience.The classrooms are air conditioned and equipped with smart boards. VR and AR are the main source of attraction here and SHIP IN CAMPUS gives you the taste of real experience. Everything is well maintained and hygiene wise also it is good.

The infrastructure in HIMT college is one of the best thing which provides you with best environment for your development for being a skilled seafarer. The classes, labs ( BSW lab, AMW, SS lab), steering stimulator and special mention to ship in campus which has played a vital role in displaying all on-board experiences on land in HIMT college. Also the VR and AR lab brings the real experience infront of you which makes you to learn and train while interacting with things onboard.
