      The Institute of Productivity and Management, Lucknow (IPM), has carved a niche for itself in management studies. Institute of Productivity and Management uses a combination of various national-level management entrance examinations for its admissions. 

      Among these are CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, and GMAT. This allows for a varied pool of talented candidates from all over the country.  The essential eligibility criterion for Institute of Productivity and Management admission would be completion of a bachelor's degree (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks being obtained. However, final-year degree candidates are eligible as long as they complete their degree before the programme starts.       Institute of Productivity and Management Application Process

      The application process for the PGDM at the Institute of Productivity and Management, Lucknow, involves the following steps:

      • Entrance Exam: Appear for any of the accepted management entrance exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT).
      • Application Form: Post results of the entrance exam, eligible candidates may fill the IPM form. This form usually becomes available on the official website of the institute.
      • Document Submission: Alongside the application form, candidates need to submit the required documents.
      • Application Fee: Pay the application fee as mentioned on the web page of the institute.
      • Selection Process: The candidates shortlist depending on the score obtained in admission tests and previous academic history will be called for the next stage of the selection procedure, as shown below:
        • Group Discussion (GD)
        • Personal Interview (PI)
      • Final Selection: The final selection is carried out on a composite score that generally includes:
        • Entrance exam score
        • Academic performance
        • Performance in GD and PI
        • Work experience (if any)
      • Offer of Admission: The admission offer is made to selected candidates by IPM.
      • Acceptance and Fee Payment: Within the time specified, selected candidates must accept the offer and pay fees to confirm their seat.

      Institute of Productivity and Management PGDM Admission Process

      PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) has been the flagship programme of IPM having an intake of 30 seats. Institute of Productivity and Management admission to the PGDM programme is determined based on the score obtained in any of the accepted management entrance examinations (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT).The programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in business administration and management.

      Eligibility: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree (10+2+3) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

      Selection Process: The candidate selection is based on an individual's score in the accepted entrance exams followed by subsequent rounds of selection, which can include group discussions and personal interviews.

      Institute of Productivity and Management Documents Required

      • Mark sheets of 10th and 12th
      • Bachelor's degree mark sheets (all semesters/years)
      • Degree certificate (if available)
      • Work experience certificate (if any)
      • Two passport-size photographs
      • Any other relevant certificates as specified by the institute
