Institute of Productivity and Management, Lucknow Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Institute of Productivity and Management, Lucknow (IPM), has carved a niche for itself in management studies. Acceptance procedure for post-graduate programs, among various eminent institutes of management, has been tailored to unearth the best, talented, and deserving students for joining. The institute is AICTE-approved for providing high-quality teaching and is recognized all over India. IPM uses a combination of various national-level management entrance examinations for its admissions. 

Among these are CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, and GMAT. This allows for a varied pool of talented candidates from all over the country.  The essential eligibility criterion for admission to IPM would be completion of a bachelor's degree (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks being obtained. However, final-year degree candidates are eligible as long as they complete their degree before the program starts. The admission process thus usually follows the academic calendar. Application Process

The application process for the PGDM at the Institute of Productivity and Management, Lucknow, involves the following steps:

1. Entrance Exam: Appear for any of the accepted management entrance exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT).

2. Application Form: Post results of the entrance exam, eligible candidates may fill the IPM form. This form usually becomes available on the official website of the institute.

3. Document Submission: Alongside the application form, candidates need to submit the under-mentioned documents:

• Mark sheets of 10th and 12th
• Bachelor's degree mark sheets (all semesters/years)

5. Selection Process: The candidates shortlist depending on the score obtained in admission tests and previous academic history will be called for the next stage of the selection procedure, as shown below:

• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

6. Final Selection: The final selection is carried out on a composite score that generally includes:

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management): PGDM has been the flagship program of IPM having an intake of 30 seats. Admission to the PGDM program is determined based on the score obtained in any of the accepted management entrance examinations (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT).The program is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in business administration and management.

Eligibility: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree (10+2+3) from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Selection Process: The candidate selection is based on an individual's score in the accepted entrance exams followed by subsequent rounds of selection, which can include group discussions and personal interviews.
