Overall I would give this college 4 stars out of 5. The Faculty is very good but the college in terms of infrastructure is a bit small. You can develop and grow your skills by participating in the college events and be a part of societies.
I am studying B.COM (Hons) because I think that you can go to any field of commerce I.e. you get an idea of all the subjects and can pursue masters in any domain whether it be economics or business administration. I think that the curriculum is up to date at JIMS Kalkaji and the faculty is also very good and understanding.
While I am not at the stage where I can personally say about the placements of JIMS Kalkaji but from what I have seen and heard you can get very good placements at this college and the Placement Cell of JIMS is also focusing on internships for 2nd Year students as well.
I think the college can be a good value for money as the faculty is good and supportive and you can get guidance from them apart from your academics like if you are doing CA or CS. And you might feel a change in your personality after joining societies and college events. A good change.
As I said earlier the campus life would be very good as you can easily access metro and bus to travel any where and as the college is located in South Delhi more specifically near Nehru Place you can visit nearby places like Lotus Temple. CP is also very near. So from my POV campus life would be good but it's just that the college is a bit small.
Great well maintained infrastructure in the college premises everything is well organised and structured the classrooms have digital projectors hostel facilities are provided to the students and the mess area serves multiple options.
The academic courses are rigorous and bit challenging but the faculty members and the alloted professors of the subject matter ensures that students understand everything in a fluid way and the learning gets very easier.
Placements in the college are fairly good with the placement committee being very active and approachable they manage to bring companies offering different role sets in the field of sales marketing finance and tech almost 85 percent of students secure placements during the process.
Jim’s Kalkaji is having pretty solid setup when it comes to infrastructure. The classroom are all modern with Ac, smart boards, projector and good wifi. Computer labs are well equipped with fast internet.
Academics at Jim’s are a good mix of classroom learning and hands on experience. It’s designed to prep you for the real world , not just exams. For BBA/BCOM you have to clear CET(GGSIPU EXAM). They also bring in guest speakers from top companies.
Placements at Jim’s Kalkaji are very solid especially for PGDM students. The college has a dedicated placement cell that actively connect students with top companies. Big names like Deloitte , HDFC bank, ICICI bank regularly visit the campus for recruitment.

the infrastructure is decent only, the could have improve on sports area, at leat a basketball court and a badminton court could have given students a place to involve in some outdoor sports. Everytime we had to book different stadiums and courts to practice.
the curriculum was good, but I would suggest that in today’s world having the practical knowledge, working on live projects and case studies would help students a lot in developing more confidence and understanding about the real world, which was missing that time.
They have some decent tie ups with some corporates but they should focus more on expanding their networks so that the students could have more options as per their interests and specialisations which could provide them a stepping stone in their career.
Since they have the affiliation with GGSIPU, the fee charged is pretty much reasonable but as stated above, they still can work on infrastructure.
It is good, the professors are very helpful and students with different interests and from different places comes together to share the knowledge and experiences, making it a good place to be.
Classrooms are neat and clean and each and every classroom is having projector which helps the students to understand the concept more conveniently. All the classes and auditorium are having air conditioners.
Faculties of the college are so co-operative and help the students in every situation. Teaching method of some teachers are good but some are average. But what they taught will not help in the job as there is no skill based teaching.
Placements of the college is getting worse throughout every year. Every year placement is decreasing drastically and highest package of bba is around 5-6 lakhs which is not so good and average is around 2-3 lakh which is very poor.
As I am doing bba which cost 1.5 lakhs per year which is very costly and campus is very small and doesn't have any play ground in the campus so from my opinion giving 1.5 lakh for this is truly not worth it.
Campus Life is ok ok not so good and not so bad . Basically as college is so small so there is no place to hangout in the college but the teachers of the college are so supportive and help if you have any problem.
My college management provides e-library access to all students, and it also has many books and journals. The sports infrastructure is also well maintained with basketball courts, football grounds, and table tennis.

Placements here are really great, upto 65% of boys have got placements. The highest package offered is near 7 Lakh and the lowest is somewhat 3 or 4 L per annum.Internship programme was available in our college, some students went directly to firms and some of them applied online.
Yes there is a good value of money in this college, they respect everyones pocket and make plans accordingly, the canteen food , study material are very much pocket friendly. Overall the college value for the money alot

the placement cell is extremely active and suppportive they organize numerous workshops seminars and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process i was impressed by the placement cell's strong industry connections
for the tuition fees the quality of education is eceptional the professors are highly qualified and the curriculum is comprehensive, compared to other colleges in the area this one offers a great education

The academic is good all the faculty are coordinating with the student while taking lecture and solved all their issue and problem related to the topic also apart from this the teacher support the student in extra curricular activities also so that you can pursue your passion. The placement was overall good but it might take extra efforts to get placed in a good Company it totally depends upon the student. For the final placement college some some additional skill enhancement course like advance excel digital marketing and etc that can make impact of final placement this college provide internship opportunities also to gain the practical exposure of the corporate world.
